I can personally play this song and I must say it's not the easiest one. In her case she used a capo giving the guitar a differnt and higher sound. Your voice is very good, but I even believe it on myself and every other muscian there is potential to be better. Good song, good job keep playing.

however, it seems that you are playing with a capo on ?? fret, which made the whole melody sound higher. with that, it kinda sounded a bit techno-ish at one point cos of ur high voice + high tone melody.

so.. play the song over the normal melody, no capo needed. cos if the melody was low and in sync with your high tone, believe me it'll sound veeeeeery nice.
