Amazing! I haven't heard this since 1979. All of the Hedge and Donna albums went with my ex in the divorce. We had all of the albums. My ex had known them before he met me.
I'd love it if someone created a CD with this beautiful music.
Thanks to whomever posted this. I have been looking for this song for many years. The only thing I remembered about it was the line about licorice. Sorry I missed you at the Troubadour Arnie -- I lived in LA and hung out at the Sunday Griffith Park concerts but was just a few years too young for clubs.
Can't believe this and other wonderful cuts have found their way here! This song , "Please Understand Me" and a few others were favorites of mine when I first started playing guitar. I never could find this album, but ran across Revolution years ago and immediately bought it! Not sure exactly how it Hedge and Donna found their way to me in Crystal Lake, Illinois in the early - mid 70's....WAY COOL!
I was their bass player. Did anyo fo you come to see us at The Troubadour? The owner, Doug Weston was our manager. I left in 1970, or so, afte rthe first 3 LPS and joined John Stewart and Hoyt Axton. Now, that's a switch?
Just curious if any of you and seen shows ina dn around LA.
I can't believe I found this! Wow! It's one of my fave from the way distant past. I had this LP. I didn't know anyone knew this song but me, Hedge and Donna (O: Thanks!!
Thank you so much for putting this out. I have some of their music which was never released. Things they did after their last album. I also have copies of everything they did record except for one bi-lingual childrens album and the sound track for a movie would you like to hear anything in particular???....
Great song, thanks for posting.

@kimm711 - Are you the Kim who moved to the San Juan Islands way back when? If so, you broke my heart when you left LA.
