  • The vietnam vet did right. But let's give the drunk guy credit. He volunteered to sit there with the sign, knowing he deserved it and clearly felt stupid for his actions. In my eyes he completely repented. Alcohol changes behavior and thought. Let's keep our outrage and hatred for Islam and the Obama admn, shall we ???

  • This AH is lucky that I didn't get my hands on him. His carcus would rot, duct taped to a flag pole.

  • Hoo rah. My kinda post

  • From a current service member to a vet, I salute you and your actions :)

  • @fatman532 AMEN BROTHER!

  • I support this vet for the steps he took. In fact, I salute him!

  • Just a "piece of cloth" to the unpatriotic and undeserving of the liberties that brave men and women have fought and died for! This man is my hero. He didn't force this man to do anything - he talked to him and the man REALIZED he was wrong. Old Glory is a symbol of what America represents and by burning it you dishonor yourself and all Americans.

  • Vigilante justice at its worst !!!

It's just a piece of cloth

  • @maxuel09 You are a POS

  • @maxuel09 Thats like saying the Karan is just a book, the bible is just a book. Your property is just items, your family is just people...etc. Come on. You must not be a legal U.S. citizen for the dump ass comment!

  • Semper Fi!

  • Don't mess with old warriors. You'll lose.

  • Semper Fi to you VFW Vets

  • Hooray for the VFW guys! And, you assholes who think our flag is not worth it-- spend some time holding the hand of guys as they died under that flag--- doing what their country asked them to do.

  • @fiddlermike So is burning someone else's property.

  • @fiddlermike Kiss my ass you dip shit

  • @fiddlermike Thou thinks Fiddler is an illegal immigrant! Why would he such ignorant things?

  • Never mind the patriotic aspect, f*ck w my private property n duct tape will be the least of your worries.

  • @1812navy Amen, brother!

  • Violence is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and valorous feeling which believes that nothing is worth violence is much worse. Those who have nothing for which they are willing to fight; nothing they care about more than their own personal safety; are miserable creatures who have no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of those better than themselves.

  • Well... this video's going in my favorites... :D I don't know what that dude was expecting, but I'll reckon he sure as hell got it, didn't he? ^-^

  • Punishment? Some might call this "Corrective Training". No question who, in this story, "served" and who "has been served". Score one for the patriot.

  • Way to go VFW!

  • @NuckyBishop - Unpatriotic dumbass. Move to Russia!

  • @handy335 Actually Im not from the states, Id move to Russia before moving there too.

  • I'd have felt like pissing on him too . . .

  • @275crimson You're nothing but a mindless drone, a cog in the machine, following orders, and you've bought the whole thing wholesale. Nothing you've done has made a pimple on the world's ass. These wars of aggression have led to hundreds of thousands of deaths and injuries and have made the world and this country a less prosperous and more unsafe place. I am just a guy making a living who cares enough about what is right or wrong.I don't claim to be important and you are just as much of a nobody

  • @Copperhead570 Lol... What's the name of the gym you run? Where do you sell your real estate at? Let's get your busniness some much needed attention so you'll shut the fuck up, and let everyone else handle their own.

  • @275crimson I'll be sure to tell him what a heroic tough guy he is. I wonder what you would do if you ever fought an even fight and took any kind of real casualties. But keep wallowing in whatever you feel you need to tell yourself to convince yourself of your importance.

  • @Copperhead570 It's called the 75th Ranger Regiment. Look it up, between spotting your ass clown buddies at your weak ass gym. I'm sure your learn a little something about what the fuck you're talking about in the process. Get a little education on a subject before you open you ignorant mouth.

  • @275crimson You are obsessed with what my job is so I'll tell you. I am a part-owner of a gym and on the side I sell real estate or find apartments for people. OK? Sorry, we can't all be "heroes" fighting lopsided battles against poorly equipped, malnourished guys in robes and sandals. High tech weapons, body armor, overwhelming numbers, air support, tanks, artillery, drones, night vision goggles, etc., etc. Wow what a fair fight. The next time I see Hulk Hogan beat up a 9 year old,

  • @275crimson You haven't made any coherent argument other than inboxing me telling me you're going to resolve this in person. You've been nothing but a pawn arrogantly meddling in the affairs of other countries. the citizens of these counties want you out of their lands! You're a bully sucking off the government (read: taxpayers') tit. You've helped to recruit more opponents of the USA and you've actually made the world a more dangerous place.

  • @275crimson Firstly, I don't "fight" people unless my life or a friend's is in danger. If you are ever in NYC, however, and would like to discuss these issues, I'd be glad to educate you. I actually dislike the fact that you're working for Israel and I'm paying for it. (Oh, I typed too quickly in my last post. I meant to write "...who thinks EVERYTHING is solved...") OK, back to work for me so I can pay for the $30 meals Halliburton is charging me for you.

  • @275crimson And you are the type who thinks everyone is solved by wars. Hey, how is that working so far? LOL I see you've been pretty much reduced by the flimsiness of your argument and your inability to think to threatening me in some kind of a childish fight. I wonder if you're aware that physically assaulting someone because something they say makes you angry is illegal. Amazing that there are adults who haven't gone beyond a high school mentality.

  • @Copperhead570 Where did I threaten you, pussy? I know when civil talks work and I know when fighting is a must. I've been around the world and back again, dealing with those exact scenarios. What is it you do again? You seem to always leave out your credentials; Leaving all of us to assume you're probably some nobody just lashing out on the internet for a chance to be heard and get attention, because nothing you've ever done has. What's the point in going in circles with your clown ass? lol

  • Just like I expected. Nobody has been able to make a response beyond "Shut your mouth" or "You're only able to say what you say because of the freedom we provide." The latter is my favorite! These "heroes" love patting themselves on the back for following orders and invading weakling countries. Riiiight, invading Iraq and killing civilians is what established freedom of speech. It's always boring having these discussions with these self righteous flag waving fools with no conscience or morality.

  • @Copperhead570 Don't forget the, "What experience do have, what position do you hold, that gives you direct insight and credibility to speak on these subjects?", response. You're just another opinion; Another drop in the bucket for negative sideline perspectives; Nothing special; Nothing Legitimate. AND YOU WOULDN"T SAY ANY OF THESE THINGS IN PERSON.

  • @M11ty Yes I am. What should happen to him beyond paying for the flag and then paying a fine on top of that and/or being arrested for a misdemeanor for vandalism? Tell me what you think should happen other than that? Should he be "beaten up" or some other such stupidity?

  • @Copperhead570 You're such a pussy. It's easy to run your mouth form behind a keyboard and screen name. It's easy to make up your own "facts" to support your own fairytale sories and opinions. I can tell your the type who is scared of a ass whipping, or any confrontation for that matter, and believe that politics and diplomacy solve everything. It's cool, there are millions of pussies just like you. Y'alls time will come.... and guess who will be there smiling.

  • @Copperhead570: It would be wise to keep your mouth shut (aka sign out of your acct) right about now. You've said enough.

  • @scullybub1 Explain what you meant by telling me I would be wise to "shut my mouth." Is there some kind of an underlying threat of which I should be aware if I don't? Is this how you respond when people make comments you dislike? You tell them to "shut up"? How ironic that such an apparently patriotic American would take away my right to freedom of speech under the First Amendment because he doesn't like what I'm saying. You sound like an imbecile and a bully.

  • All it did was help to bankrupt the country and get tens of thousands of civilians killed. And cool down on the macho crap. You are fighting poorly equipped and nourished peasants in sandals with your high tech weapons, body armor, air support, tanks, artillery, etc. and you still can't beat them. Try thinking for yourself instead of having a desperate need to prove what a tough guy you are by killing people in the name of a country slavishly devoted to its Israeli masters.

  • @Copperhead570 It's easy to make up "facts" from the sideline isn't it? Get a little personal accountability before you open your ignorant mouth about something you've never seen or been part of. "It's the military's fault for our country's problems, not the socialist agenda that has emerged." You're an idiot running his mouth because he's protected by the freedoms other's provide for him, and the internet hides him. BOTTOM LINE

  • @275Crimson Blaming the military for America's faults is like blaming a pencil for your poor writting skills. You truely show your ignorance everytime you type a response back. I served my country and have the right to tell you to "SHUT THE FUCK UP". If you don't like my respone. I live in Great Falls, MT a "Open Carry State". We'll show you what justice is...friggin moron!

  • And the pissing contest below by a bunch of fools trying to out-military each other is laughable. You idiots are in the sand fighting wars for Israel and were sent there by elites who would never send their own kids. You are not "protecting freedom." You are screwing around in other people's countries and those citizens don't want you there. The Iraq war, for example, did NOTHING to improve the lives of anyone in the US.

  • @Copperhead570 Yup, copperhead..... when you were you there? What do you do for a living that gives you the credibility to speak so freely on the subject? MSNBC? CNN? Right, shut the fuck up..

  • How does this guy have the right to do that to the guy? The guy should have been arrested for destruction of property but this nutcase has no right to tape people to a pole.

  • @Copperhead570

The guy could have been brought up on arsonist charges .... which is a felony and lost his constitutional rights ....... the guy also gave his consent to be taped to the flag pole so no violation of his rights where made ..... start listening and educate yourself

  • @Copperhead570 he wouldve gotton a $15 dollar fine and walked off scott free. he desearved much more. i hope your not an american considering your other comments

  • I would have killed that piece of shit...

  • LOVE IT!!

it's good to see that there are patriotic americans!!

  • America, you are so fucking retarded

  • wow just reading comments i am amazed. The flag is what an american soldier swears to protect........its a symbol of freedom......our freedom and its under that flag that the body of a soldier is layed to rest...I got one from my dad and my children will get one from me......You should respect that piece of cloth you would if your parent was lying under it and being layed to rest (mine a disabled vietnam vet and i lost my dad at his age of 62). But I have that flag dispayed in my living room

  • What kind of idiot burns a flag at the VFW?

  • GOOD FOR YOU VFW!

  • Why would they "protect his indentity"? People should have to stand by their decisions. lol

  • Is more than a piece of cloth, man, you just don't get it do you? You probably don't even know what the colors mean or represent?

Hell, we would have probably done the same thing here in California, and not have been so nice about it, they should have pissed on the guy to!

  • Yay for the old guy taping the younger jerk ! ! ! !

  • overhead arm claps...

    GO!

  • People Take Things For Granted That Have NO MEANIG To Them Personally. I Personally RESPECT Every Man And Woman Is Is And Has Served Out Country That Goes Along With OUR FLAG. Dont Take It For Granted BECAUSE IT IS A SYMBOL Of Your Freedom... Oponion Or Not Without Those Men And Women And That Flag Flyin You Would Be Sitting On Your Computer Posting Your oponions That Only Make You Look Ungreatful As A So Called American.

  • The First U.S. Supreme Court Ruling on Flag Desecration (1907):

Most early flag desecration statutes prohibited marking or otherwise defacing a flag design, using the flag in commercial advertising, and showing "contempt" for flag in any way--by publicly burning, trampling on it, spitting on it, or otherwise showing a lack of respect for it. In Halter v. Nebraska (1907), the U.S. Supreme Court upheld these statutes as constitutional.

  • The Flaf represents those who have given their lives for this country, those for whom those lives were given (ALL OF US!) And for what this Country stands for. I do not Worship My Flag, but I DO Honor it, those who gave their lives for it, and the Country it represents! God gave us this Country, but He\She goes by many names, many faces and many aspects. But all are The One Over All. Everybody pretty much has it right and its stupid to fight over differences in Belief!

  • @wanderer711 Well said, VERY well said. Thank you.

  • Another thing that bugs me about flag burners is their lack of respect for ‘seemingly’ anything. Why would I allow someone like that into my life? What else would they be willing to do to disrespect what they think is important to me? Set my family album on fire so that I never get to see the pictures of my family again? Shake up and spray a can of Coke in my car? Shove my favorite shirt down the toilet? Their problem is lack of respect and no boundaries.

  • HELL YEA

  • So incredibly full of win.

  • The flag survived Iraq, but dies in the USA. That's a metaphor for showing that our greatest enemies aren't in Iran or North Korea, but here at home. The guy should get busted for theft and vandalism. As long as they did not injure the man but detained him, it's a legit citizens arrest.

  • I'm tired of activist doing double-back flips if another country's honored thing is dishonored, but they are tickled to death if our symbol is dishonored. Get your disrespectful feet and matches off of our flag! WWII soldiers in prison-camps in the Pacific who were skin and bone, lying there in the muck when our guys showed up to get them. As they laid there looking up seeing the other flag lowered and our flag raised and that it meant they were going home. Leave it alone for their sake.

  • Burning the U.S. flag just because they wouldn't give him a beer. :/ I woulda had him sit there for 24 hours.

  • @a50745 Alcoholics will do anything for a drink. Pathetic.

  • My opinion is that way too many American flags are not made in America. Instead they are made in Taiwan, China etc.

  • Well, well, well.....maybe he lerned a lesson. Regardless, without reading any of the preceding whining and crying.....(get vagicil, or prep H depending upon your outlook) (sorry JCS says its OK too have an alternate outlook...not my cup of tea but whatever) and clean yourself out. Privately owned property.... volenteered to be duct taped...end of story. Clean out your sand filled cracks.

  • He's lucky they only taped him to the pole! Good job guys! :) Oh...and the guy VOLUNTEERED to be taped to the pole, so haters...BACK OFF! :)

  • Now he just needs a one way ticket to lets say ah Syria or one of those nice countries! Good job post!

  • Hahahaha fuck yeah I would have helped hold the SOB down.

  • CLUTCH!

  • @njrod2008, in favoring no government you are, in effect, declaring yourself an anarchist, then? Do you not see the inherent problems? Minimalist government, as was designed, yes, but government IS necessary to civilized society.

Iraq may have been a secular government, officially...but that meant it was not governed by the leaders of "the church" so to speak...there was still a state religion (Islam), and punishments and lawmaking were based therein. No need for a book. I was a contractor there

  • inline75067 What is important to all who desire to keep and use weapons to defend our freedom is to make sure the president is defeated this year , hell flag burning would be lawful with this nitwit, He will pack the court and private gunownership will be gone. Time to fix this I do not like Romney but he is the lesser of two evils, So vote for keeping your weapons and we will end up like illinois. or canada

  • Its just a piece of cloth -_-

  • @DarkSchnieder666

Yea, and you're just an idiot, you're point?

  • @Valkyrie1911 An idiot, dolt, or dullard is a mentally deficient person, or someone who acts in a self-defeating or significantly counterproductive way. As a deputy Sheriff I am far from that. It was simply a statement of fact I was making. Don't get upset over something so trivial lol.

  • @DarkSchnieder666 Just a piece of cloth - so what would you say if he had killed an eagle? It's just a bird, right? For being an American, you sure don't stand for America. You might work for a police force, you might be a street soldier, but you will NEVER understand what the phrases "Selfless Service" and "Loyalty" are truly about. It was a piece of history that meant something for those that died for that "piece of cloth."

SSG Terrel - United States Army - Afghanistan (Deployed)

  • @78DougieFresh lol an eagle is a life as is a cat or dog or fish but not a piece of cloth. I salute no one but myself and certainly not an inanimate object. As the late George Carlin once said "and I dont get all choked up over pink ribbons and american flags. I consider them symbols and I leave symbols to the symbol minded!" lmao

  • @DarkSchnieder666 "I salute no one but myself." That is EXACTLY what I was talking about. Although it may be "just a piece of cloth," it's a symbol of hope to those of us that are getting bombed and shot at EVERY DAY. If this is how you feel, why not drive the four hours north of Poughkeepsie to Ft Drum and burn a flag there? If you leave soon, you'll catch 3rd Brigade, 10th MTN Div just as they return from their deployment out here! I bet you won't do it...

  • @78DougieFresh lol whatever dude. I have no intention of doing something to purposely upset people. I was simply stating my opinion earlier and you got all vagina hurt. It is what it is.

  • @DarkSchnieder666 You stated that it is just a piece of cloth, which to those of us that see it as a reminder of why we deploy, it is much more than that. You stamped on our beliefs like they don't matter to anyone, and you still think that you did nothing to "purposely upset people." (and you called me a vagina, which was MEANT to purposely upset me.) I am glad that the midstate NY police force hires special people, it shows equal employment opportunity is used there...

  • @78DougieFresh No I did nothing to "purposely" upset I merely stated an opinion. If that opinion upset someone as adults they should have dealt with it in a mature fashion unlike you. Notice how your the only one who said anything in detail and are still getting upset like a child who had their toy broken. Also hypothetically speaking if I were to burn a flag I myself purchased on my property in front of a platoon they would do absolutely nothing but keep walking. LMAO!!! I'm done.....

  • @DarkSchnieder666 Here's the thing, you, like many police officers, think that your opinion about the profession of arms is correct. Yeah, you have the right to an opinion, but yours is skewed because you haven't fought FOR anything. You've just fought against things. It is SO PATRIOTIC setting up a speed trap or arresting drunk drivers. I am fighting so that the people of Afghanistan can live without the fear of being blown up. When was the last time you were scared an IED would kill you?

  • @DarkSchnieder666 Plus, you keep making personal attacks towards me as a person. How narrow minded is that? Why don't you look at the bigger picture? Less than a percent of all people in the country ever serve in the armed forces, but you think it is ok to go on the property of a VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Post, and destroy our symbol of our country. For you, it's just a piece of cloth, but for us, it represents EVERYTHING. I, unlike the 99.5% of you, would willingly die for that cloth.

  • @78DougieFresh nah what he did was trespassing and vandalism but if he had owned his own flag and burnt it on his own land thats his "right" to do so. Also I served 99 - 03 paid for my collage. Also I would never state any of my opinions are correct thats why they are opinions. lets just agree to disagree =) I think we are done here.

  • @DarkSchnieder666 Hardly the only one. I just haven't said anything until now. If you were to burn the flag in front of me, while I certainly reserve your freedom of expression, you would not be medically comfortable with mine. Go hard or go home solider.

  • @TheHalodave LOL so you would "Assault" an officer thus ending your career and serving you a nice jail sentence? I dont think so.

  • @78DougieFresh Thats the key difference, you and I disagree with some douschbags misguided opinion but we will defend with our lives his right to be a douschbag.

    Thank you for your service

    Sgt PB USMC

  • @78DougieFresh Felt the need to post your rank and deployment status, huh? It's cool; I remember my first beer too.

  • @275Crimson LOL, not my first deployment, but I love the Beerfest reference, great movie! No, I only use that as reference to my expertise on the matter of fighting for a greater cause, not to get some sort of sympathy vote.

  • @78DougieFresh "Expertise", huh? What unit are you in? What's your MOS?

  • Comment removed

  • @275Crimson Step Brothers, released in 2008, Beerfest, released in 2006. Scene - the first time the boys find the drinking contest at Octoberfest, the Germans are making fun of them since they're chugging slow, and Schlemmer says: "I remember my first beer!" Fail denied!

  • @78DougieFresh I'm more concerned with the fact that you run around the internet referring to yourself as a "military expert" who is "deployed", when in all reality you are probably in the regular army, are very under qualified, and have little to no combat experience. Good on you for wanting to stick up for the flag, but don't go being a d-bag and embarrass the real soldiers. IE: SF, 75th Ranger Regiment, CAG, 160th SOAR

  • @275Crimson Look, just because I'm not SF, or I'm not an 11B, does not mean that I am any less of an EXPERT at what I do. I am regular active duty army, but I am the best at what I do. I've been downrange more than once, and I have been on the road more than I care to admit. It is what it is, and if you think that because you are a bang-bang and squeeze triggers you are any more of a soldier than I am, hooah. I got it. You're entitled to your own miopic beliefs. Good luck, brother.

  • @78DougieFresh You honestly believe that regular military personnel's skill sets are equal to that of SOF personnel's? You honestly believe that your "leaving the wire/been on the road" stories equal that of USASOC/SOCOM missions? If so, the entire U.S. Government, and world, disagree with you. Your theory can easily be proven wrong through unit indocs, training events, and actual mission results. It's called "Special Operations" for a reason. And, EVERYTHING is earned in this community.

  • @275Crimson and plus, who the hell are you to call me a douch-bag, or doubt my experience? I have 4 combat stripes, and I'll have 2 more when I come back this summer, surely that's not enough for you now is it? It's ok, bro, I understand your compulsive need to discount others. If you are, in fact, a bang-bang, good for you. Just because I have more to offer the Army than my expert shooting or 291 PT score, doesn't make me less than you. I'm in the suck just like everyone else.

  • @78DougieFresh No, you're not "in the suck" like everyone else. Wake up. Stop dropping your cliche basic training movie lines, and really think about what you're saying. You obviously have no clue what SOF personnel's skill sets are. Trigger squeezing is just the fun part. I called you a d-bag because you just like every other regular army guy running his mouth, oblivious to the realities surrounding him.... with no respect for the REAL SOLDIERS out there doing REAL DEEDS daily/nightly.

  • @275Crimson Good for you, Spec Ops. I am glad you are out there doing whatever it is that you do. However, what would happen if everyone else in the military dissappeared except for your special operations (because we don't matter anyway?) Do you really think that special operations would be able to handle the mission? Here's what would happen, they'd lower the bar and let everyone into SF so they had the bodies to complete mission. How elite would SF be if you had 500,000 of you?

  • @78DougieFresh Glad you're "expert" enough to make that call, standing on your soap box of bullshit. You're out of your element, in so many ways it's not even funny. SF is one unit in the entire SOF community. The SOF community has aslo been around for a good while now. There have been tweaks made over the last decade to improve further on it's long standing history. With the entire SOF community and it's support personnel on a task, I know it will be handled... and it will save tax dollars.

  • @275Crimson Here's what I actually know about your "community" There just happens to be a LRS unit in my brigade... Let me get started: 1) most article 15's in the brigade, 2) most failed urinalysis percent, 3) most negligent discharge, 4) highest percent of AR 600-9 violations and APFT failures. The only things they did right so far this deployment is the fewest security violations and tied for the fewest FLIPLs. That's a SOF success story for you! Kinda gives me a warm-fuzzy in my heart.

  • @78DougieFresh LRS? This ain't nam', fuckstick. They might be your unit's "internal special opserations", but that shit doesn't rate, moron. If the UNIT isn't in USASOC or SOCOM they are not special operations. So, save your ignorant babble. Anybody who reads this conversation who knows a damn thing about combat arms or real special operations is going to laugh so fucking hard when they read your bullshit. Have fun on that year deployment of doing not a damn thing, staff sarg'.

  • @78DougieFresh Good on you, Staff Sergeant...My wife's dad served under that flag in Europe during WWII...My dad served under it as a Marine during Korea..I served under it from '75 thru '79 in the USMC...My son served under it as an S.F. Medic for two tours in Iraq..My daughter served under it as a Korean LKinguist in the U.S. Army....Nothing gets me on spin cycle quicker than some pathetic, bed wetting jackass who desecrates our national colors..Semper Fidelis !!!!!!!!

  • Barbaric? what would have happened if had exercised his freedom of speech by burning a

the koran at a mosque. I'll bet that coward wouldn't have just gotten a timeout.

  • Someone does have the right to burn the flag, but you have to decide when to do so wisely. Drunk: Not so wise. Protesting: Wise.

  • It is the soldier, not the reporter, Who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, Who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the organizer, Who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, Who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag, And whose coffin is draped by the flag, Who allows the protestor to burn the flag. - Father Dennis Edward O'Brian, USMC

  • @AC0RN22 These rights are GOD given, not SOLDIER given. The soldier didn't GIVE us any of these rights. This means that the same soldier could take them from us. The fact that FATHER Dennis Edward O'Brian, USMC puts his soldiership before God is quite telling.

  • @voice940 Rights are not God given, our country is found on the freedom of religion, and our rights were set up and decided by our forefathers which wrote the constitution. since we have freedom of religion and many faiths in this country how could our rights be decided by them? if you go to another country you have to follow their laws and you will not be entitled to the same rights as here, but not because of their God, its because thats the local rules which is enforced by the local Gov't

  • @hol3l3es You are a fool. The rights come from God in the first place! Our Founders knew that, it's in the Declaration of Independence. In fact the principle is all through our founding documents. Governments do not bestow our rights, they can either protect those God-given rights, or in the case of tyranny, try to remove them. Governments that take away rights are acting against what God gave us.

  • @dovie2blue our constitution was set up by men, and they were not especially holy by any means. it was set up with freedom of religion so even atheist people have these rights, people which do not believe in God. Do you think God instructed them in what to write and used them to create our constitution? why does england not have the right to bear arms? our settlers came from their church but we chose another path. depending what God you follow says what your entitled to, so which faith are you?

  • @dovie2blue and do you believe your God to be the voice for all America? i guess noone else gets a say in what God they believe and the rules which they want to live by.

  • @voice940 Soldiers of course don't GIVE rights, but they protect the people and Gov't which set up the rules in the first place, in the video they said they gave him a choice and he chose to sit there duct taped. it did not say what his other choices were, but they did not attack him or turn him over to the police, they dealt with it and let it go. How would you feel if he came into your house and grabbed something small which held value to you (maybe something passed down) and destroyed it?

  • @bob18robert--I served from 88-95, deployed for JC and DS, RA MOS 11B D co 1/75th INF. Class 8805 for my tab, and class 8808 at the 1/507 for my wings. If you served, you how this means "Not Px"

  • the fag has a che guavarra tshirt on.....well go figure.

  • @fpopee should have set HIM on fire. ; )

  • @fpopee you must not know what Che looks like

  • @Mesmerlab read the shirt chuck

  • @fpopee yes, read the shirt. It says 'Clutch'. ;)

  • I had a T-shirt that I wore until it wore out. It had an American Flag on it and said, "Try burning this one".

  • I am red blooded American Vet who would of destroyed that Idiot if I was there...What a dammed pity that he did that..Freedom of Speech my ass!!!!..Come try and burn mine...I won't duct tape you....

  • 25 people are enemies of the American people

  • You should have tazed him repeatedly and then shot him.

  • @avfreelance Now that would really be breaking some laws. If not homocide then assault (or something to that extent)

  • @avfreelance for what a piece of fabric? get over yourself.

  • "kidnapping and assault"...yiuy are a friggin' moron! WATCH THE DAMN VIDEO!. He VOLUNTEERED to sit there. No wonder our kids are ignorant. Their damn liberal-ass parentd are.

And I'm talking to you rmatonti2!

  • This is disgraceful that these VFW people are acting like the Nazi brown shirts in pre WWII Germany. I am ashamed that these people are veterans. He committed an act of theft and trespassing and the police should have been called but they are guilty now of kidnapping and assault. They must have very low IQ's.

  • You're just not to smart are you? First he committed theft, vandalism and trespassing. The VFW, being full of members who are adults with a sense of fairness and justice chased him down and he volunteered to the tying. They, they have gone out of their was to protect him and his families identity so no hot head like you, who doesn't know the facts hurts them.

It's always some creep like you, who didn't serve your country who says he's ashamed of them and calls veterans Nazis.

    Kiss my a**

  • @rmatonti2 I guess you didn't watch the whole video? Or maybe comprehension isn't your strong suit. The guy offered different options. "He volunteered to sit out here duct tapped to the pole."

  • burning your own countries flag, regardless of who owns it, is treason. That is indisputable. Taping him to a pole seems barbaric but I'm not even mad, and I think he got what he deserved.

  • @blgdinger3 Another one who's not very smart. Burning your own US flag is protected under freedom of speech, even though I don't agree with it.

Barbaric? The man volunteered for it.

  • @MultiPervert Oh, I'm not smart? Right. I didn't say he didn't volunteer, I'm saying it seems barbaric to strap someone to a pole in 2012 regardless. Also, nice name, idiot.

  • @blgdinger3 Its not treason LMAO. Its completely legal If its yours and done on your property your well within your "rights" to do so. Get over yourself its just some fabric...

  • Gee, the asshole was upset that he couldn't get drunk so he burned the flag? WTF? Be happy he only was duct taped. The guy obviously knew he f-ed up because he volunteered to be duct taped.

  • Dont judge me b/c im white.

  • The non-aggression axiom is BS. The reason is because criminals will take advantage of it. If you truly follow that il-logic then if someone breaks into your house, you aren't allowed to defend yourself because defending yourself is an act of aggression. It is just as bad as pacifism. You will be the first to die anywhere.

  • Good deal, I like old school punishment. His parents should of been taped to the pole as well. They obviously failed as teachers and mentors.

  • Good for them, I wish more people believed in America the way many of our veterans do. But I guess the saying is true... "For those who have fought for it, freedom has a special flavor the protected will never know."

  • 2/22/12 - 25 Communists/Socialists/Marxists/Libs disliked this.

  • Ok kids. He burned someone else flag. Someone starts my shit on fire they are going to get more then duct taped to a pole. B. is America perfect, he'll no but the very fact we have the right to protest is far more freedom many others do. Does anyone reading this literally wake up in fear of of your govt? No, feels good don't it? Many aren't as lucky.

  • @docta608 I actually do wake up in fear of my government.......but I know it could be a lot worse....which is what I fear it will become. We have been blessed with freedom in this country but it is slowly but surely being taken away by our own government. Our veterans fought to keep it safe. Our politicians are slowly destroying it.....all of them....not just one party or one president.

  • oh ya thats real good duct taping someone i served in the marines but would never ducttape someone to a pole for durning a flag that is false imprisonment these people need to learn respect for others

  • @MrJesuschristisking - "These people need to learn respect for others". You WERE talking about the guy who STOLE property of the VFW to burn it, right?

  • FINALLY! thank you VFW! job well done, and to also have the sense to let things die, job well done!

  • I'll use BIG LETTERS so maybe some of you imbeciles can get it: IF HE WANTS TO BURN HIS OWN FLAG, THAT WOULD MAKE HIM AN ASSHOLE, BUT HE COULD. HOWEVER, HE DOES NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO BURN SOMEONE ELSE'S FLAG. THAT IS VANDALISM AND DESTRUCTION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY, WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW. Did you get it that time? Good Lord, what is wrong with some of you people?

  • @ForeverYoung58 Geez, how pathetic that yo have to actually explain it to some people, but thanks for taking the time to do so. Couldn't have said it better.

  • @ForeverYoung58 They are sofaking cough up being a 99%er (whatever the hell that really is) and wanting to be an anarchist they have no grasp sharing its all about me me me.

I still dont think they will get it, but Thank You for trying :)

  • YES!!! Certain senior citizens, you don't wanna piss off. Especially old combat vets. Awesome job, VFW!

  • YEAHHH VFW. HEROES AGAIN!!!

  • Couldnt have sued him...He volunteered to sit there, not sure what other options he was given, but thinking this one hurt less....Great job VFW.

  • Oh shit this guy could have totally sued him! Good show though. AMURRIKAH!
