I took 2 Role-Reversal Workshops with Dr.Warren Farrell PhD where women made ALL the initial moves (asked a man for his phone no/ invited him out etc) and men were to NOT make ANY initial moves. The women were allowed to make 3 tries and then had to move on to another male etc. At the end of it all Warren asked the females "How did it feel to take the initiative?" Almost ALL the women said OMG I hated it, I hated the rejection. Warren said "Walk in our moccasins for a while"
he says that women hold all the cards because they have what he wants...once you let a women know that you want her but you don't NEED her then her powers dissapate.
The No. 1 talent women want in a man, is a man that can make them BURN for desire...if a person has to cook in order to get sex...she is not that sexually attracted to him.
"will cook for sex"...how more pathetic can it get? so for this guy a women only has to bring sex to the table...as if women do not have a raging libido...women's sexual desire is more intense than most men could fathom. just read Secret garden by nancy friday...women want a man who unlocks the kinky freak in her.
(Continued from second comment) Acceptance has helped me not get so upset about why men are like this or like that, whether I understand them or not. Accepting gender differences also helps me be more relaxed about the issue, too.
(Continued from first comment) Now since I am older and although I am a woman, I still will not be able to fully understand how a man sees things when it comes to relationships, the same as a man will not be able to fully understand how a woman sees things when it comes to relationships. However, I have learned to accept how gender differences work without being able to entirely figure out how men and women do things, regardless of what sex I am.
The thing that both genders need to remember is we can't change each other to become how the other one is. In other words, men can't make a woman become a man and women can't make a man become a woman. I used to get really frustrated with the way the opposite sex views one another.
pinkyCrow is right! This guy is an antique! I like them in my living room, but I dont date them! ( or marry them) Gina is a real woman this man is just silly! I am trying to be polite here....
Gina was great. I found Dr. Goldbergs knowledge about women and dating very "boxed". It's like he hasn't been out in the wolrd since his last book. He should really study some more....
Gina Cloud was wonderful. Dr. Goldbergs information seems so outdated, and cold. From my own experience, men are so closed and women tend to need to overprotect themselves from it.
Herb Goldberg is the pioneer on relationships: he was huge and a national bestselling author in 1970s and 1980s. I hope that people can remember him that way. And I was so excited to watch him here.
Goldberg is correct
