A reglan injection(to prevent nausea when inserting a nasal gastric feeding tube) caused my mom to be able to speak really well until she was injected with Ativan which lessened it. Also caused her to move enough to rip out her IV. She previously was barely able to speak or move(you can see in my videos). It certainly has an affect on that system! I don't know if it caused a rebound that resulted in an increased loss later or other long term negatives, but in that moment seemed miraculous.
