  • great great great drummer

  • Oi Grandad. go home. Youre embarresing the kids.

  • Tight as!,.....simply spot on

  • freakn awesome drummer! can NeVeR get enough a PLaNT. ultimate RoCKeR!

  • Robert Plant can still whail like this. It has to be the right mood though, or else forget it. The Zeppelin show was the right mood, and he enjoyed the idea of more rock music with his old bandmates. He just had commitments to take care of. THat is why, now that his commitments are winding down, he is willing to talk with his old bandmates about that tour and new album. He never hated Led Zeppelin ideas for touring. he just had other things going on in his life. So we shall see what summer bring

  • @JustinPierce1226

Damn! I hope they come to the Chicago area! I've been a fan my whole life.

Wait! not just an ordinary fan. A number 1 fan. Led Zeppelin has always been my favorite band, and, ironically, they STILL are!

  • You can barely hear Michael's drums on this, especially the bass, so go listen to another performance to get a better taste of the delectable licks Michael serves.

  • Michael Lee and Charlie Jones make Page almost listen worthy.

It goes to show you, with a solid rhythm section, any hack guitarist can sound OK.

Plant sounds the same, like an old screeching woman.

  • @TruthAxe Please post a video and show us all how it should be done!

  • @TruthAxe Your comment is so right on man, and the proof is the black crowes cover and they have a really mediocre rhythm section, which compromises the whole performance even though Chris Robinson does a better job than Plant at vocals.

  • @10ccalanarkush Peace man. You have it oh so right.

  • Plant seems to be doing this vocal in a talk/sing fashion - probably in an effort not to strain his voice. He sounds damn good too!!

  • micheal lee is such a bad ass, no one better to play for bonzo(beside jason) RIP M.L.

  • too fast...

  • @TheHuntingdrummer : Agreed.. Grooveless this fast.

  • thumbs down????what are you stupid/drunk or both?

  • Badass!

I heard that Robert Plant had said this song shredded his vocals. He sounds good on this version, so does Page.

  • In the original vocal, the money notes of this song bend around Plant's passagio between his middle and head voice. He modified the melody somewhat singing it here and pretty much stays in his middle voice throughout. It's a subtle change, but crucial, as the passagio notes in a person's voice tend to be the weakest and often the easiest to strain on.

  • holy s**t! when did Michael Lee die?!

  • passed away a few weeks ago...sucks.

  • Did they ever say exactly what Michael Lee died of or from?

  • Something about a seizure...i'm not sure what caused it.

What a killer drummer. I mean, what an assault on that Ludwig hardware. It must be tough stuff.

  • Was an EXCELLENT POWERHOUSE!!!! Passed too soon! RIP

  • Frenetic!

  • SUPERCOOL! does anybody know where i can get a vhs video copy of this entire show.

  • It's a boot.

  • This concert is the fastest I think Ive ever seen Jimmy Page play his guitar, he plays so smooth and so fast its amazing.

  • Super Awesome

  • Michael Lee sure has a lot flair, but nowhere near Bonzo's groove...

  • Or sound listen to the high hat and the snare there terrible especially for Led Zeppelin's stuff.

  • Yes, Bonzo snare and high hat were montumential

  • They really rocked!! Wow!
