well, we can know God personally. we can't know all of God in His glory this side of heavn. but we can have a relationship with Him and a walk with Him. this is why Jesus came- God in the flesh, Immanuel. if you know and belong to and follow Jesus, you *do* have a relationship with the One True God. this is the joy Mr. Tomlin sings so beautifly about. the joy of knowing God, being saved, and having His Holy Spirit in your heart.
