crocs have a knack for sneaking up on people.

i saw a nature documentary. they measured the force of a croc's bite. even a small croc had a 1600 pound/square inch bite force! It clamps down even harder if a person who's limb is caught in its grip tries to struggle even a little. And it can hold that bite pressure for about 20 mins! Good luck getting your arm outta there. A larger croc had a 2500 bite force.
