How's this for a Soothsayer music vid: same as above, but towards the end solo, a bunch of spectors and ghosts from other dimensions, heaven & hell, all spill forth unto the world amidst all this chaos. The spectors then swirl together to form the ghastly blue & green image if Buckethead as he plays whilst all the ghosts swirl around him and the chaos continues below him, until the world starts to crumble.
Like, from 6:05 on. Ooh, Ohh! And when the song ends, Buckethead takes a look up at the sky & space & heavven, whatever, just as that last note goes off. It'd send chills down my spine for sure.

When I hear this song, it reminds me of the futility of mankind. We try so hard for everything, but it only fades away when we die. Why do we work so hard to keep this world how it is? Why do we work so hard to leave behind our legacy, when we dont even know what happens after life? This world is fucked up.

For what? I'd rather die and go to Heaven for living a good life than die and have nothing happen to me. No one has enough facts to prove God's real, but it's what makes some of us feel better about others, and ourselves.
Neer shoves anything down your face? you've obviously not been in a serious catholic family. Losing your faith in a family like mine is as bad as smoking marijuana. Devious catholic mothers will seperate you, guilt you, and manipulate you until you come crawling back to their religion. Its not the bible that shoves anything. Its you christians. Getting right in people's faces.
Pink floyd is bad ass but, Their music is not as emotionally powerful (for me )as buckethead, And much of pink floyd while awesome, is very dark, depressing,herione-based, coldwar era hoplessness. bucket head is so much more of a positive power, soring highs, and it fills me with hope, and joy!!!!!
Now people are going to compare Gilmour to Buckethead. Let the legends remain in their prime era, and let Buckethead reign supreme. Soothsayer is brilliant, but I don't think "The Wall" visual aid adds anything. With all due respect to Buckethead, I think that this takes away from the original rock opera. Not that the two should ever be compared, but it's hard to choke this down. Although, all of this is for naught, because of the "Young Lust" scene, this video will be deleted.
Ok this is in NO WAY better than Pink Floyd's The Wall masterpiece. There are plenty of guitarists better than buckethead. check out videos by Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Eric Johnson!

All great guitarists in their own right, but Buckethead is far better in my estimation (and that of most of the people who post comments to videos linked in "Bucketheadland"). That being said, it's all music; just enjoy :).

Is a Wah pedal, Jrodsly, the manic on and off, is done with a kill switch, and the those insane ascending slides can be done with a Whammy Pedal.
