The game failed because the devs were forced by the money pushes to release it a whole year before the devs believed it was ready. The cliff hanger was crap coz it had no content to follow it. Originally an Expansion (better than the rushed SH Chronicles) was meant to provide deeper insight and greater understanding of the story line. Coz as anyone who ever played the game can tell you. All the featured NPC characters that accompany you into the Hellgate apparently die - I loved this game too!
i didn't really see many tech problems i have the game it laggs really bad for me i just though it was the fact that my comp sucks haha ^^ buti guesws it was the fact it didn't go down well with the public the books don't really have annything to do with the game adn visaversa u know...
