I wouldn't agree. I don't care about running crysis because I don't particularly enjoy the gameplay. Every other game I've tried runs on max, and I didn't waste a lot of money.

Play Crysis on max and not some little racing game or COD.

The 4830 should be a lot better. The 9600GT competes with a 3670. Look at 9800GT from nVidia if you're looking for a good competitor.

9800GT and the 4830 both are about the same except in a few games. Crysis is better on a 9800GT, and Call of Duty and such are better on the ATi. Depends on what you play.

4670 is what I meant, but remember that 9 series GPUs are essentially 8 series GPUs.

I can play Crysis on max settings, Gigabyte GA-EP43-UD3L Mobo, Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 2.5GHz processor, 4GB of DDR2-800 memory, 320GB SATA II hard drive, SATA DVDRW optical drive, ATI Radeon HD 4870 512MB video card, 550watt psu. I play crysis max settings with a target fps of 44fps, which is really fast, GRID max settings, target of 70fps could go to more but I get stutters for some reason.

first of all the 4850 is the worst card out of 4 series, becuase it has the biggest failure raite(because of how hot it is), the 4830 can be overclocked to bigger frequency's then 4850 making it better. faster and cheaper.
