people say consoles are better than pc cuz we dont need to spend a thousand dollars well this proves it a 400$ pc giving equal performance and plus u need to buy a pc anyway so spend a little more and GAME!
I wouldn't agree. I don't care about running crysis because I don't particularly enjoy the gameplay. Every other game I've tried runs on max, and I didn't waste a lot of money.
i built a computer in aug 2008 with the following Case: Antec Nine Hundred :PS Antec Neo Power 500w, MB Foxconn A7GM-S , CPU AMD Phenom x4 9550, Ram 4 Gigs of G-Skill 1066, Videocard Evga GeForce GTS 250 256 MB Ram, HD WD ST3500630AS 500 GIGS, the videocard i added in june 2009 everything still runs great
also im planning to use hdmi as my audio/video output any tips on that? its the only thing my tv will accept and i dont have the money for a new monitor
I like doing budget builds, here is mine...Smilodon Case, 600W PSU, 4gb HyperX Ram, 640gig HD, Phenom II X4 805 OC'd to 3ghz, HP DVD drive, Asus MoBo, BFG GTS 250, Windows 7, and a Coolmax Ice Cold heatsink for $535+tax
The 4830 should be a lot better. The 9600GT competes with a 3670. Look at 9800GT from nVidia if you're looking for a good competitor.
9800GT and the 4830 both are about the same except in a few games. Crysis is better on a 9800GT, and Call of Duty and such are better on the ATi. Depends on what you play.
I can play Crysis on max settings, Gigabyte GA-EP43-UD3L Mobo, Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 2.5GHz processor, 4GB of DDR2-800 memory, 320GB SATA II hard drive, SATA DVDRW optical drive, ATI Radeon HD 4870 512MB video card, 550watt psu. I play crysis max settings with a target fps of 44fps, which is really fast, GRID max settings, target of 70fps could go to more but I get stutters for some reason.
Hello, i bought the same motherboard, but i dont know the dual channel thing. I got 4gb ram 2 x2, how shold i install, both on yellow, both on blue, or 1 yellow and 1 blue. Plz i want to know, tnx
you should've bought the hd 4850, its 40% better than the 4830. and the 4850 only cost $10 more than the 4830. uhh :DDD nice pc anyway im going to buy exact same stuff to fill in mine. but i go for the hd4850 :D
first of all the 4850 is the worst card out of 4 series, becuase it has the biggest failure raite(because of how hot it is), the 4830 can be overclocked to bigger frequency's then 4850 making it better. faster and cheaper.
Will this run minecraft good with and without recording cuz I have prob around $400

Garbage setup.. I wouldn't encourage people to waste their money on those parts.
Play Crysis on max and not some little racing game or COD.
A "True" gaming PC should cost AT LEAST $1000.
My Graphics card alone was $900.

4670 is what I meant, but remember that 9 series GPUs are essentially 8 series GPUs.
omgzLAZERpewpew 2 years ago
for 100 bucks the best card is 4770, then you should get a 4850 or get a 4830 an OC it.
