o my goodness that gave me chill bumps! we're looking for skits for our drama dpt to do... and i stumbled on this one... i can't wait to show it to our director!
We did this at my church, but what we did was have three scenarios. One was a woman who had gotten pregnant and the guy swore it wasn't his kid and abandoned her. The next was a man with a drinking problem. The third was someone who had lost her faith because of issues that had happened in her life. Behind each of these people are demons, drawing them in and turning them against God. Then Jesus shows up and they try to get to him so he can save them. The demons bind and blindfold them, then beat
omg im in a chruch drama group as well and we did that song before but we did it differently . we had to ppl and the jesus and he spoke to both of them but there was alot more. but that was pretty good. god bless you all
What happens is the first persons husband dies. She feels as if shes alone and that Gods not there. Then, the husband/dad is abusive. The boyfriend does and helps the wife and daughter. In the end, Jesus WAS there and He influenced the girl at the beginning to hug the mourner and the other girl to give her a flower, and for the boyfriend to turn around and stop the father. See, we may not always be able to see when God's there, but He speaks through others actions. Thats the point of the drama.
but how was jesus there? the girls made a good decision all by herself and the boyfriend is just acting on instinct they kinda just helped themselves, im not ridiculing your religion but it jus dont make sense to me
that was beautiful.
i have the same shirt as the teenaged girl

what the heck whats apostolic?
horsesluvem 4 years ago
It's basicly means a follower of Jesus. Like the 12 apostles who followed Jesus. You can be one too once you get saved!
