how come ur guitar seem to be diff then the sig model? and how come urs have emg pickups? isnt it suppose to be B.D.S.M pickups? sry im a noob.

@marshalsims I don't think BC Rich Wartribes come with EMG pickups (but they do retrofit the pickup cavity). I think the Wartribes come with either B.D.S.M or the BC Rich active pickups (judging by what I've seen on the market).

@marshalsims Its alot cheaper than buying the complete signature model. I havn't tried it myself but ive read alot of people saying its do-able. The previous message was a bit silly. There is a model with EMG's in it but that is alot of money. The prime differences between them is the neck construction (bolt on and neck through), body wood, fretboard. If you dont mind bolt on basswood guitars, go for the cheaper one. But if you dont mind raking out the dough, the EMG, maple, neck through is ther

@jacka1996 I'd play it safe with the higher end model of the wartribe if you want EMGs. It's got an ebony fret board for darker sounds and it already has EMGs fitted. I think the guitar in the video is the lower budget model because of the rosewood fretboard. It is do-able with EMGs but in some cases, routing my be required. It's your choice to be honest; I just don't want to see you make a mistake because that would be awful. If your unsure, you can ask questions on or view forums about it

@marshalsims It is possible to install the EMG's into the lower end model. Sorry it took me a while to write this up. A lot of people have chosen the EMG 81/85 set. I like the 81/60 set because of it's tonal versatility. The PA2 switch will require drilling a small hole in the body if you want to use it. It boosts the gain by 20db apparently (great for solos!). I'm going to install the PA2 switch on my Beast V (it will still require a small hole) I recently installed EMGs in my beast v. AWESOME!
