I love using Zhang Liao too. especially on DW StrikeForce. He can master Lu Bu's crossed pikes! He's the only character which is perfect during gameplay...for me.

his new move set has changed him into a speedy character

i would perfer that in his true speed attack he swipe his halberds one at a time rather than both together

Although Zuo Ci was fun to play as, he was not needed. He was ridiculously overpowered (more so than Lu Bu in fact) and he was unimportant historically. All he really did was taunt Cao Cao and try to convert him to Taoism. There were many more people deserving to be a playable character than him.

Unfortunately KOEI did not do that but the new designs make up for all of that. Zhang Liao's new design is growing on me, despite basically being a replacement for Pang De, who I never liked.

I'm a bit disappointed. Zhang Liao in DW3-4 from what I remember had incredible reach--that and his personality made him awesome. He seems a bit too fast now. However, after seeing Zhou Tai's disembowlment, I think I'll be going back to Zhang Liao as #1.
