  • @ Little kayuna

a horse do too his ears back when it heard sounds from behind!

    I can't good english!

  • How do you train your horse to do this stuff ! My pony was abused, he is 8 years old.. you think once I show him a training stick won't hurt him that he is still young enough to learn this ? I'm also referring to other video's of this man and his horses.

    THANKS

  • @Eye4Photography92 it all takes time and bonding. you would have to spend atleast 5-8 hours a day just playing with him in a feild and training him not to be afraid of things anymore. then, he'll do this kind of stuff.

  • @Eye4Photography92 if he was 20 he would be young enough to learn this. go for it

  • @artsyhorse come on, horse is even in you name! you should've known.

  • I can see on the horses how much they love him and he love them so fantasic! :')

  • An unhappy horse would not do any of this stuff.

  • It´s just so damn amazing to have that connection to your horse!

  • my horse when she is thinking she puts her ears back si there!

  • @SierraSyd08 lol hahaha i would love to see her do that!

  • @SierraSyd08 I would love to see her do that!

  • the chestnut has his ears back all the time...in all his videos. That usually means he's not happy.

  • If a horse puts it ears back it can mean several things.

    1. It is indeed not comfortable in a situation.

    2. It is focussed! And in this case it is concentrating on the movement/body language of his trainer.

If a horse is in pain, mad, or really unhappy it will put his ears flat back on his neck.

  • dont forget he will often also bare his teeth, and swish his tail too! but my opinion is wonderful! liberty is the best thing that we can do with our equine companions!

  • That's a good one. I always wondered why some horses put their ears a bit backwards when doing things like this or being ridden.. And now I know more, thanks ^^

  • artsy - littlekayuna made a really good reply. I just wanted to add that I believe Gaston (the chestnut) was making "mad faces" at the other horse. He and Honza "own" each other, in his mind, lol.

  • it also means it's concentrated..

  • the horse is probably just listening and trying to understand what he means. If the horse weren't happy it wouldn't follow him. When a horse puts it ears back like that it's almost always concentrating.

  • ohmygod!

it's obviously, you don't have any idea of parelli respectively of horsemanship!

  • Lovely work with the horses!

  • very very gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood
