  • One question make me actually wonder : why is there so much hate in music video's comments in general? I can't watch a video without reading "fuck" in half of comments. Music shouldn't be a war shutter at all... it's so depressing :( everybody loves a different music style, so there isn't any reason to insult people who have different likes

  • @LittleFl0yd Because people need to justify their choices, and the internet is a perfect annonymous outlet to swing your club, as in life you may not be able to. Justifying your choice by trashing another mans. Ah Humanity

  • @lukeninersfan Yeah, you're right, unfortunately... it's sad, but fight against it would be like trying to fight against windmills...

  • kurt was lefty you know

  • you know he is not kurt cobain

  • watch?v=ywTIuXfYUAA

    NEW PAGODA VIDEO

  • beautiful song!!

  • Its amazing song! I love it, its so powerfull and Michael Pitt is awesome.

  • forever alone xD

  • Doesnt get much better than this song

  • lovin this song

  • I heard that this song isn't actually pagoda's song and that it's kurt's song that he never recorded, and tjat this song is stolen from kurt's tabs that were found in his house,is that true?

  • @zveena of course not

  • @leonelcarbonero I think so

  • @zveena if you ever listen to nirvana you will realize that kurt's lyrics and michael's lyrics are very different.

  • @leonelcarbonero yep,I realized now,but I didn't pay too much attention to this song so yep,now I've readed them and they're complet different!

  • @leonelcarbonero plus that I've listened to all nirvana's song,b-sides,demos,kurt's home demos,all outcestisides,so yes,how could I not listen to nirvana!

  • @zveena then it¿s clear there is no way in hell that this is a nirvana song haha

  • @leonelcarbonero of course

  • @zveena Where the fuck do these idiotic rumors come from...!? This song was written and PREFORMED by Michael Pitt. No one else. Not the ghost of Kurt Cobain, just sexy ole pouty lipped Michael Pitt.

  • @lbf1978 chill the fuck down,I was just asking cause I wasn't sure,I heard from other comments that it was writen by kurt cobain and performed by michael pitt! Don't be such a douchebag, someone already corected me.

  • Comment removed

  • @zveena LOL @ you for calling a CHICK a douche-bag. AND it's chill the fuck out-not down. Damn. LBF1978 is probably like the rest of us who are sick and tired of people giving Michaels credit to fucking Kurt Cobain. LBF, you are my herooooo.

  • @Magnificentcam97 I DID NOT GIVE HIM CREDIT MICHAELS,I don't even give a shit about him,I fucking asked, wtf is wrong with you? and how the heck could I know she was a chick,I did not check her channel to see what gender she is.gosh,I did a small mistake, not even mistake,I just asked cause I wasn't sure,I listened to all goddamn Nirvana songs,demos,B-sides,acoustics,I was like 95% sure that this is not kurt's song but I asked in a comment so I could find out, stop being an asshole,be nice.

  • play this song when i die please... cheers...

  • I love this song!

  • best song I've ever listened to...

  • q buena musica

  • Grunge Forever .l.

  • no coments

  • And i thought grunge was dead...... yeah....... right.

  • And btw, this song is beautiful beyond words.

  • Pitt's vocals are very reminiscent of Cobain's. But that's where it ends. This band sounds nothing like Nirvana. Completely different band.

  • is a pity that this band isn't known, it would be the return of the grunge

  • I think the song must say: "It's a long lonely journey from birth to death" instead

  • @some1mere2human3 he's refering to another journey

  • Im glad i can read comments and not see bs like "What a Cobain wannabe." thank you fellow commenters for realizing Pitts genius

  • my eyes open shut

  • Real fucking grunge a decade later

  • I wish i could find that bird its awesome :3 great fucking song. Solid grunge.

  • i was a fan of kurt cobain but i really like michael pitt genius

  • Michael Pitt and Kurt Cobain - Gods

  • Comment removed

  • If Kurt Cobain sang the exact same song, it would be real grunge, and no one would say shit. Now, obviously neither this guy nor anyone else can sing as well as Kurt Cobain, but there's no reason this isn't grunge just because it was written after '94.

  • AWESOME

  • I love this song, its absolutely amazing. Michael Pitt's voice is sooo orgasmic <3

  • @TheLinzilou michael pitt isn't singing this one,you know that right?

  • @raptorbatu1 You, Sir...are FOS! That beautiful voice you're hearing does belong to Michael Pitt. If you cannot tell the difference between HIS vocals and those of Kurt Cobain, I suggest you have the wax removed from your ears, dear. BIG DIFFERENCE! Listen to the spoken parts...that's all Michael Pitt.

  • never mind i didnt see it in the description box sorry

  • could you please tell me where you got this picture from thanks

  • this song is genius

  • let's go to my version, if you like or dislike

  • I watched Last Days and fell in love with this song. Only just clicked that it's Pagoda! hehehe, love this. it's beautiful.

  • nothing better since bridges to babylon and brian jonestown massacre.

  • I think people like to hate on this band to try and convince themselves that they are a "true" or eletist Nirvana fan...

  • Pure song

  • my funeral song is elected wow!!!!!!!!!! love it even better played loud

  • I love this song, so... true?

  • I think it's beautiful that SOME people still appreciate this song! :)

  • @lbf1978 you are totally right bro

  • @brkesva "Bro..." LOL~ Man, I need to change my name to something more feminine ;)

  • I hope he made it.

  • Nirvana, one of my favorite bands. Pagoda, kicks ass. Where's the conflict? Why must people try and bitch about similarities and inspired influences?

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome.

  • in last day he sing better

  • @demondayalf5 I totally agree! He sings with more passion!

  • last day did suck

  • LOVE IT !!!!

  • last days was a great movie only thing it says about kurt cobain that it was inspied by his death

  • i love nirvana , and ppl wer dying to find someone tht cld atleast do grunge , and now after pagoda with michael pitt came , everyone is saying they are copying nirvana , isnt that wat u wntd u childish ppl besides they arent copying no one !! they are doing grunge pure grunge !!!! :S:S

  • @sleeq1993 your fucking damn sure man, :)

  • @sleeq1993 There's no such thing as "pure grunge". Grunge is a label invented by the media and critics, after the fact. By the time mainstream media used the term, grunge (or whatever they thought it was) had been long gone. Grunge helped sell tshirts. It sold millions of magazines and placed many mediocre bands on the map. It encouraged trend chasing dorks to spend 100.00 on lumberjack gear so that they could feel they were a part of something. Grunge never existed. It's just nostalgia

  • @sleeq1993 This song was written for a movie that was loosely based on the final days of Kurt Cobain. They probably did try to make it sound like Nirvana. I'm not complaining though. I think it's awesome! :)

  • @sleeq1993 TOTALLY agree♥

  • Grunge didn't sound like this. :SS

    But I like it.

  • @sleeq1993 pure grunge? no, sorry. there is heavy influence from many other genre's like bluegrass, and even blues. Nirvana wasn't even pure grunge. Which is what made them so amazing. Pagoda is still an amazing group. Michael Pitt is beyond talented

  • @knightlion04 very well spoken mate =)

  • @knightlion04 Bleach was pure grunge the rest wasnt , and i agree with you on this not being grunge , some ppl have no ideia how grunge is suposed to sound , Padoga is a great song and the only song that you can call grunge Is Happy song and Michael pitts Acoustic version of this one .

  • @iuriyo Grunge as a musical genre, did not exist. Eddie Vedder and Jerry Cantrell cofirmed it. The "grunge" movement was an invention of the record labels in order to sell more. They just labelled "grunge" bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Mudhoney etc. when the obviously had nothing in common. Wake up guys.

  • @sparky199394 Every genres name was created by some kind of label or industry head. Grunge is just a way to describe Punk music that is more alternative and heavy and emotional lyrically when compared to the rest of punk music that came before the Grunge movement.

  • @DrZaious You know it ;)

  • people if youd never seen Last Days

i doubt anyone would say anything about him

    relating to Kurt/Kurdt Cobain

    <3

i wouldnt and im a fanatic.

  • @PeaceeLoveeEmpathyy yeah i just saw it and thought it was a great song when he plays it by himselve

  • Michael Pitt is a very talented man, great song. Great performance in the Board Walk Empire one of the best !!!!!

  • love this song so much. this got me into Pagoda. i cover this song time to time when i play live. such a simple but yet passionate song.

  • Awesome band <3

  • @#Uzzie101 , kurts natural hair colour was blonde u fucking retard, if you are a nirvana fan then you might have the book on kurt cobain called "Cobain Unseen" and in that holds child photo's of kurt with BLONDE HAIR. and who's to say that pagoda arn't a fucking rad band even if they are in a way like nirvana, most bands are formed because of their influences and loads of grunge bands are influenced by nirvana, the greatest grunge band of all time.

  • love this

  • Whats up with these dumb comments? Its music, listen to it.

  • I don't see how they sound like Nirvana anymore. His songwriting style is very seperate from Cobain's and his voice is different too. And...yeah, he has blond hair. So? Kurt's natural colour was brown/fair.

  • @Uzzie101

Kurt Cobain's natural hair color was blond dude. Get your facts straight.

  • @stealthkiller2107 Nope, he redye-ed it blonde. He had fairish/brown hair. Sure, he was born blonde, but so are most people with fair hair. Look at earlier photos of him (or any photo from around the time Bleach was released

  • @Uzzie101

His hair became dirty blond as an adult. Dirty blond is commonly mistaken for brown but trust me when I say he had a shade of blond, just very dark.

  • @stealthkiller2107 We're all wierd, talking about it.

Let that be the end of it.

  • it sounds way better in the movie lolz

  • is this a real band? or are they like nirvana wanna be's? their really good though!

  • @dentpopcan Well, everyone is a Elvis Presley, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins wanna be...if they have good taste in music that is.

  • @nicholsjoshua15 why cant they be themselfs?

  • @nicholsjoshua15

    HA

    Love it. :]

  • he´s not copying kurt at all...

kurt would have never been able to play this on guitar...even though its so easy xD

    no seriously...

it sounds a lot different than nirvana or kurt...

  • @arneOalf haha, I really have to disagree with you on that one... first of all, this is not about copying, but this song was chosen for a 'semi movie' about Kurt. And secondly, maybe you should listen some more Nirvana work before judging Kurt couldn't play sth like this. I admit he wasn't the best guitar player, but this could be a Cobain song, so all credits to Pagoda.

  • @vergul1982 nice .

so i dont want to take a step back but it was more like a joke that kurt could not play this.i know A LOT OF nirvana. well everything.

but after a short investigation i say: pagoda uses very different harmonics...(hope it´s the word in english)and chords

nirvana managed to play the WHOLE NY unplugged concert with only 8 chords + powerchords+ standard barré....

pagoda uses 8 different chords in kinda 3-4 songs.

as you could know i play the guitar too. i started with nirvana

  • @arneOalf Fuck u on about

  • @arneOalf

hehehe... yeah think we on the same level about Nirvana ;)... NIrvana introduced me to the guitar ;).. but I only was talking bout this song.. Pagoda is a very different band and can't be compaired next to Nirvana, also wouldn't be fair to them ;),,,

and with harmonics I understand what you mean ;)...

  • PaGODa come in France !! we love U

  • This isn't as symbolic, strong and emotional as the one he did on Last Days.

  • @MunisAwesome That's because this song wasn't written for the movie... I agree the song was fitted good into the context of the movie :)

  • @vergul1982 The song in it's origina form doesn't even sound that good, that's my honest opinion.

  • great song...duh

  • His voice goes directly to the core, thats awesome

  • fuck you MrUsman007 michael pitt has more balls than you do. ass

  • wow, love this song. it's like a mix of mando diao (like the style they had on "never seen the light of day") and nirvana

  • it's nice of you to link the drawing you used, most people wont do that :)

  • Why every body here speak about Kurt.. Pagoda made a awesome song. Stop with Kurt, i love him but here we have a pagoda song not a nirvana song :)

  • @grungeandhard Because this songs was for the movie the last days that its about kurt and how he die .. and this song Its supposed to be the last song that kurt composed :D

  • @grungeandhard BECAUSE PAGODY IS A PARODY OF NIRVANA .... MADE IT JUST FOR A FILM...

    OH SHIT MAN..WAKE UP!

  • @EGYPTSELLERS

pagoda is not a parody of nirvana

it's a realy band, michael pitt was working on songs before the movie and the band still exists :-)

  • @grungeandhard they mention Kurt because of the film Last Day's....but i agree Pagoda deserves to be recognized for themselves. I also feel that Kurt is the greatest artist of all time and Pagoda does strike the same vein that Kurt did. to me atleast

  • Pagoda sounds like Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins mixed with 1960s rock with grunge. I don't wonk what to say it's great sound.

  • @grungeandhard But the song is in a film which is based on Kurts life thats why and also Kurt is a legend, this song is only famous because of that film

  • @grungeandhard Maybe because the singer played Kurt on a flick.

  • first off RIP and all Love to Kurt.....second.....kudos to michael pitt for writing and making this song...and for his roll in Last Days...."ART REFLECTS LIFE". and what i believe...."LIFE is ART"...cant wait to see how u get down in "Board Walk Empire"....quit crying and holding your own grudges or expectations....learn something and just keep it moving....

  • @TtothefuckinO and thats to all the people "stuck" on "idiot"

  • when i listend this song i think to kurt!

    kurt the one!the best

    from france

  • Michael should not have done last days because now he's always seen as a nirvana wannabe

  • @MrUsman007

yea fuck yoiu he has more balls than you do asshole

  • i love this song :)

  • ooo la wea depre ctm!!! saquen esa wea!! xDD

  • It's a great song, but I prefer Last Days' version, it sounds closer than this.

  • quite the nirvana wannabe.. but i like this

  • we will meet in a bether world kurt

  • this song makes me feel so sad...

    <3

  • This is actually pretty good, it haves a flavour in it which is rare these days.

  • u cant really compare nirvana with pagoda..the style might be similar but these r 2 different bands!

  • FAV SONG..!
