yes, is the kapok tree, I got one he is about 3 years old dont have the torns yet, but i'm looking forward to see that, I got few more that i grew from seeds they are 9 months old.

Yes those are leaf hoppers. Interesting find.  Shouldn't damage anything, just setting up a home.

I have a crape myrtle bonsai, I forgot his age but he is over 11 years old, maybe I'll make a video so you can see him. I also want to ask you if you've seen a ceiba petandra cuz you are in a hot climate maybe they got them there, I got some new ones this year I might share one with you if youre interested.
