I'm reliving the moment, this moment they really did it for me that night, great stuff. I regret they took so long tho', I felt just here they were in top gear.
this concert was incredible!! We came all the way from Salt Lake City to see U2 in their hometown and it was a night I will never forget. To be one of over 88,000 fans was a chance of a lifetime! I'd follow them anywhere.
The tickets for this concert were a rip off. I bought the most expensive one's thinking I would be close 2 the stage which I wasnt, I was in the hogan stand. For the price I paid I expected 2 get up closer but instead was miles away. I found out that their was people on the pitch who paid only half the price that I did and got alot closer, this doesnt make sense. Did I pay double just for my seat! U2 charge away too much for thier tickets and rip people off!!!
Stadium/setting looks fantastic! Sound brilliant -Bono doesn't sound too strong on the old vocals. Doesn't seem to be a lot of atmosphere - perhaps this was at start of the show before crowd got going! Watch some of the TT footage from 13 June to get some real crowd participation!!!!
Nah, was actually at the end of the show. It was the second last song. The atmosphere was great throughout the whole gig, could be because it's a slow song.
No Jenio obviously I wasnt there otherwise I wouldnt have put in the comment!!! Viewing it as someone who wasnt at the show and just looking at it as it was posted there didnt seem to be a lot of atmosphere during that song. That is all I was saying... people are entitled to an opinion you know!!!
But it really was great ya well shoulda went superhappydays.ya defo wuda had a super happy day if ya where there.this was 1 of the last songs so a bit more quiet y'know:)
Oh BUT THEY ARE!!! Guaranteed by the time U2 retire, they'll have more no.1 albums and Grammys than any other in history. They are already a record holder for Grammys(22) in counting, they ARE the biggest LIVE act in the world and have been for sometime and in the top 3 of no. 1 albums OF ALL TIME! With a no. of years left on the clock mate.
Of course Bono is gonna lose his voice, look at Sting for instance. Sting used to sing great, but now he's trying so hard, but that's why you have hard core fans, then they wouldn't care what you sound like. :-D No matter how old they get I'll love them forever \m/
His voice has somewhat changed of course... but I don't think he has been losing it, I think its not as flexible as it was when he was younger. He still sounds awesome... it's like he doesn't have to kick his own ass trying to sing, his voice can handle it. IMO anyone can sing and sound good, you just have to know how to control your voice =P some people have a more stunning voice tone than others... and I think Bono's voice is just awesome.
I was at the gig on Saturday night and I was blown away. U2 are the best band in the world, maybe even by far. For those idiots that think U2 are rubbish then seriously, you do NOT know what music is all about, U2 are pure emotion, that's what music is suppost to be. Keep up the great work U2, you guys are the best!
like em or not i find it very hard to believe any1 could say that. You mightnt like their music or watevr bt the atmosphere was amazing and the musician ship between them all was great. Nt to mention the fact that bonos an awesum singer.

I was down on the pitch; mighty! I'm playing this to recall probably my best moments in 2009 - I hoped the song wouldn't end.....

Well, Bono's voice is showing the changes we all go through by age... But I'm glad he's still singing all these old songs... they are wonderful...

@AntiRellik Changed, yes, Lost, hell no. With proper technique, he can put his voice back into the 1980s. Watch the Little Noise Session videos.
