What's up with the indicators (turn signals) being on constantly? I mean I know you guys got DRL's like we do over here in Iceland but why have the indicators on then? How are you supposed to tell when your indicating then?
@QeXeQ There are 3 Gear levers. One for gear selection in the transmission. Medium length one is High-Neutral-Low in the transfercase and the short one in front of that is for the Transfercase Differential lock. The Niva is set up as an all wheel drive vehicle so in order to have equal torque transmitted to both front and rear axles you lock in the transfercase Differential.
I'm not sure if my reply's are working.... A block heater is an electric element that replaces a freeze plug in the engine block. They are used to heat the coolant to aid in cold starting.
I have a 1994 Niva with carbureted 1.7 liter engine. it is not just to have it even in -10 degrees Celsius

Ваз Нива.... exotic for ya, but here in Russia it is such a handy thingy :) But, you've got Chevy Niva, why don't you use it?
Jarmen00747 4 weeks ago
One Niva has been used at the russian south polar station. So its not big deal to run niva at -25 C

@QeXeQ
Because every terrain vehicle has them, if it does not, it is not a proper terrain vehicle.
