I can not answer this question as I have no way of knowing your physical capabilities. As a general guideline you should use a weight that allows you to do 8 to 12 proper reps of the exercise. Use good form, train hard, - breif and intense workouts.
@M374EVL If you can easily do more than 8 reps on 25lbs, increase the weight. To maximize arm growth, do drop sets on Bicep till nearly failure. Nearly failure means you should be struggling to complete on your last rep.
Example workout:
2 set of Standing barbell curls 6-8 reps till nearly failure
2 set of Dumbell preacher curl 6-8 reps till nearly failure
That's it! Like Shawn said, Bicep and tricep are small muscle groups, they are easily overtrained. 4 sets are enough.

im working out with 25 lbs an arm for my bicep training is that too light or too heavy??
