And I got to see megadeth play with slayer at the American carnage tour. Mustaine is still a great guitar player even after his drugs habit shit. Considering mustaine went through hard work and had to battle drug addiction and stayed true to his band I respect him for that.

Dave and James worked a lot together and James picked up a lot of knowledge from Dave. If you notice Kirk Hammet's style is based off of Dave's. Thats because Metallica knew Dave was the shit and they didn't want to lose fans by changing the style too much.
