there are many scenes on this vid that i havent seen before. did they make more seasons or volumes in japan that have not been english dubbed yet? i also noticed on amazon.com that there are people selling volumes 3-9 but i cant find anything on wikipedia about it
@83RS there are only 26 episodes to this show. They're doing a manga based on the show in japan but no new episodes that I am aware of. I know every single episode this video shows so.. maybe you've just missed some?
@Leylaashley after watching the show a second time, i now recognize said scenes. i have a horrible memory, which requires me to watch a show several times before i remember everything. on another note, do you know of any other anime's that are very similar to this one? i absolutely loved this show, but i cant find many more that have a truely heart warming relationship like this. ive watched Elfen Lied, Gunslinger Girl, Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne, and am starting on Clannad
@83RS No I dont know of any other show with a relationship quite like this one. This show was very unique in the way it presented itself, but there is another show you may like called Sasameki Koto.
@Leylaashley thanx. i highly recommend Elfen Lied and Gunslinger Girl. just be prepaired cuz Elfen Lied has lots of nudity and a high amount of violence. but the plot is incredible. Gunslinger Girl is rated TV-14, and also has a really good story line, and its very fulfilling watching those young girls be all innocent and cute, but ruthless assasins at the same time
@83RS I can recommend an anime with an good relationship that is kinda like this one in a way(its Yuri too, but I can take it that you have nothing against that since you are watching this anime) It is called Kannazuki No Miko(means in english: Destiny of the shrine maidens), it have some very lovely scenes and are also very sad sometimes.
@TheGodlikeDragon funny you recommend that, ive been watching it on youtube. im around episode 8 or 9. im not much of a fan of the robot fighting, but other than that it seems like a good show.
@TheGodlikeDragon actually i greatly prefer english dubs. their voices sound a little obnoxios, but still very cute. ive also been watching Steel Angel Kurumi, and Maria Watches Over Us, which niether have even been dubbed in english yet, but the japanese cast's voices dont do much for me. not sure what it is i dont like. maybe its because they all sound so similar to me, its hard for me to tell who is talking when im looking at the subtitles.
@TheGodlikeDragon id love to, but im rather hard of hearing, especially in my left ear. one day ill get some nice hearing aids, but for now atleast im used to reading subtitles. plus im sure if i listened long enough, i would eventually understand how they talk better, and that would help me differentiate their voices. im very new to the whole anime genre, so this is a whole different world for me, one which i cant believe i was missing out on all this time
