First, let me say I haven't read that last book, but I think he meant Bill from what others have told me. Hope it was Eric though. Niall knows Eric and in book 8 he refers to him as both Eric and Eric Northman. He doesn't know Bill, at least not for very long I understand. Then about the love. Sookie is unsure of both vamps. She once believed that Bill loved her, but after his two betrayals of her I think she is as much in doubt of Bill and she has always been of Eric.
