The Lancet put the number as 654,965 (392,979–942,636), IBC put it as 98,691 – 107,707 (yes, about a TENTH of the Lancet number), and ORB had it as 1,220,580 (733,158 to 1,446,063) - the only one of the three to put the number as over a million deaths and the most widely criticized as exaggerated. JFP admits their number is 10x greater than others sources would suggest.
Interesting, but not exactly "news". The reporter in this video even hinted at the essence of what drives "mainstream" news when he mentioned Brittany, Paris, and Anjolina. That is: ratings. The networks aren't being negligent, delinquent, or irresponsible for their lack of Iraq coverage. They're being business pigs. They've calculated that nobody (past a certain threshold) is going to be interested in body counts, maimed victims, and civilian deaths. It's depressing.

Interesting, but not exactly "news". The reporter in this video even hinted at the essence of what drives "mainstream" news when he mentioned Brittany, Paris, and Anjolina. That is: ratings. The networks aren't being negligent, delinquent, or irresponsible for their lack of Iraq coverage. They're being business pigs. They've calculated that nobody (past a certain threshold) is going to be interested in body counts, maimed victims, and civilian deaths. It's depressing.

According to this story, upwards of 1,200,000 Iraqis have been killed since 2003. That number equates to over 547 per day. Talk about some exagerated shit!! In my opinion, this story is a piece of propaganda. I was deployed there in the first gulf war and in this go round. Don't believe this hype they are trying to shove down your throats. Been there, seen that and lived that. The only people iraqis are being oppressed by now are the Islamic countries and extremists.

Not really, except for some dated precursors for chemical weapons that he never did utilize, all the other western Governments did including some US companies that did sell him dual purpose materials. Germany built him a whole factory, the Swiss, Netherlands, France, Canada, Australia & the UK sold him a bunch more, but the USSR sold him most everything including the only weapons ready to use which is what he used on the Kurds.
The US provided him the least but gets all the blame.

The method used, 94% of those interview produced death certificates to prove their claim. Scores of deaths go unreported every day, the journalists on the ground tell us so as well as the Iraqis telling us. Just counting bodies is a pretty flawed way of counting the deaths. to add, no system is flawless... but some more then others.
