NASCAR and F1 are both great racing series. However they are completely different.If you knew(dxb002)they are 2 completely differnt cars,therefore stock cars cannot run in the rain because there isnt enough downforce created.F1 and Indy cars have much better handling than a 3500lb stock car running 12 inches or less from another car,so dont be ignorant saying NASCAR isnt a motorsport. On the flip side F1 and Indy machines are works of art and technically superior.Prestige and history as well.
tony was wrong for that, his pit takes up how much time in total of the entire race, a few minutes. he had a few hours to make something happen and you cant blame the pit crew for being a second to slow.........

I saw that "race" in Montreal. In fact I was ready to change my mind about the Nationwide series, not really about the sprint series. But it was more of a scramble than a race. If I remember right, they did not even finish the race. I have seen faster driving in the rain during rush hour in Houston. So my comment was right, "I haven't seen NASCAR run a whole race (not just 48 laps out of 74) in the rain.

NASCAR and F1 are both great racing series. However they are completely different.If you knew(dxb002)they are 2 completely differnt cars,therefore stock cars cannot run in the rain because there isnt enough downforce created.F1 and Indy cars have much better handling than a 3500lb stock car running 12 inches or less from another car,so dont be ignorant saying NASCAR isnt a motorsport. On the flip side F1 and Indy machines are works of art and technically superior.Prestige and history as well.

tony was wrong for that, his pit takes up how much time in total of the entire race, a few minutes. he had a few hours to make something happen and you cant blame the pit crew for being a second to slow.........

I know,this not the first time this has happened between Tony and Zippy,I've been to alot of races,and when Tony did win he was still telling them the car was not perfect and things the crew could do to change it next time.I live in Indiana and watched Tony race midgets,when he was still in high school.This is Tony.This is why a like him.You can poke fun and make stupid comments,but until you are behind the wheel of any race car don't judge.Dale Sr. was the same way. F1,Indy is not racing.

First nascars do not have stability and or traction control. Dont comment on something you know nothing about. A computer to run it hu? wow. Now to address the F1 fans. F F1. Its all about the money. Stability is achieved by distributing the weight and having a low center of gravity, as well as downforce. Second, F1 doesn't use traction control. Third, computers are not used to drive the machine. Fourth, money is brought by being the best around. Lots of sponsors,( real ones not like tide and kotex) pay millions for inches in one car. Please tell me what the computer controls in an f1 car, you seem to know that since you say the computer drives the machine.

notice none of his team is helping him get out of the car. His window net is still up. I look at that is pretty much a FU from his team. I will be glad to see him gone and Zippadelli getting a new driver. Far to much of that guys talent is wasted on nursing Tony's feelings. Nascar has made these cars practically identical so that .25 second it took Stewart to go around Harvick is all Johnson needed to stay ahead of him. I liked Nascar more when there was a little more wiggle room.

Yeah but the problem is that he's been so close like 4 or 5 times this year and it seem his team let's him down when it comes to the final pit stop so,I don't blame him for being upset especially when he hasn't won in 40 races.I don't care who it is but when a driver goes on that kind of a winless streak it becomes a point where 2nd place is 1st place loser.

I don't know why you'd want to "touch each other," but when F1 drivers DO barely touch each other's cars, it looks like a damn erector set exploded on the track. My point being, the cars are too frail. I don't want a caution every time two drivers make contact, like there is in F1. You have clearly show you have no knowledge of vehicle safety. Engineers have learned that it is safer for a car do spread the shock of crashes than to absorb it totally. F1 cars practically desintegrate so that the impact is less severe.

Just to be clear, your figure would represent 33% of the laps PER RACE (.333=33%, just as .5=50%). Brilliant. I have a great deal of knowledge about vehicle safety. I'm not talking about hard crashes. I'm talking about two guys barely bumping each other on the track in an F1 race and they both are out of the race. Exciting.
I will bet you a laptop that there is more passing during one NASCAR race at Talladega than there is during one-half of the F1 season.

Next, when I said .333 I did not say 33%. I said the average of laps under caution in a season would give you less than .333 laps per race. Meaning not even one per race,meaning an average of 1/3 lap under caution per race. Next,I don't know where you got the notion that when guys "barely touch each other" they are out of the race.The only time a driver would be out of the race because of damage, it would be rear wing damage,or something mechanical.Other retirements are because of heavy crashes.

I saw that "race" in Montreal. In fact I was ready to change my mind about the Nationwide series, not really about the sprint series. But it was more of a scramble than a race. If I remember right, they did not even finish the race. I have seen faster driving in the rain during rush hour in Houston. So my comment was right, "I haven't seen NASCAR run a whole race (not just 48 laps out of 74) in the rain.

they stopped the race because that Shitty F1 sanctioned track had inches of rain in some spots, which if a F1 car would drive into would probably disintigrate lol.
Proof that NASCAR is better: F1 drivers try to make the switch to NASCAR, like Juan Pablo Montoya... Patrick Carpentier from CART.. just to name a few, and they don't have any success in a racing series that should be "easier" considering it's only left hand turns.

Let me tell you something scooter. The guys that come from open wheel are whiners and losers. Montoya couldn't handle the pressure of f1. He got angry over the substandard reliability of the McLaren in the 2006 season. Second, in racing a good car is 70% of racing. If you don't believe me, tell me what difference did a good team make to Dale Jr.? And last, I bet you $100(which is like 10 Euros)that you will find more fucked up teeth in many of the NASCRAP races (mainly fans) than you will in F1.
