there is no dog that can say as much with only their eyes as a weimaraner. they're so expressive, and they are stunning animals in general. i miss my weim, this breed has a special way of crawling into your heart and making a home. when Chase died, he left a big gaping hole in there. that was two years ago. still hurts. i'll never get over him passing away, we were very close.

with my weimaraner we used to say "walkies" to her and she would get exited, then we changed it to "you know what" so we could talk about walks without her knowing but she caught on. They are so clever. I love weims!!!

@41elliott a weimaraner would only do that if the child did something REALLY bad to it, in defense. either that or that particular dog had been abused really badly. weims are the most gentle dogs when with humans, it's their nature. they are extremely loyal and just want to get loved on by everybody.

For example, the dog breed "Papillion" is pronounced PAP-ee-YOWN, which is how it is pronounced in France, not Pup-ILL-yun, which is how we would say it English. My grandparents had a weim named star, she died of congestive heart failure. years later, a couple they are friends with have a 4yr old male who is jealous of a newborn in the family. So the couple gave the 4yr old weimaraner to my grandparents. His name is Tal also, haha. They are going to change it to Star though, i just found out this week. I don't think they should because the dog has been named Tal for four years and Star was the other dog...she cannot be replaced. I loved that dog.

Well every dog with hair sheds to some degree, but luckily for you their hair is very short and it's grey, so a.) they don't shed much, b.) it's not very long and because it's grey the little he/she sheds blends well. XD
