Really was not worth the excitement... Bury Me an Angel, Dead Inside and Demonic Science were cool, but the others, and to an extent these, were nothing compared to the originals. Listen to the 'rerecording' of Silverwing on this 'album', and you will see what I mean.

I definitely prefer Liiva to Gossow. Arch Enemy with Liiva, in my opinion, is better than Arch Enemy with Gossow. From what it sounded like, the new album is going to be "cleaner" than the originals, and slower. I loved the original three albums, being fast and dark. Nonetheless, rerecording stuff from the first three albums is a great idea, I just wonder if they can capture the emotion they had when the songs were originally recorded with Liiva.

The new albums by Old Man's Child, This Ending, Vader, The Project Hate MCMXCIX, Inferi, and God Forbid are all great albums too.

I am a huge folk metal fan so I say "From Afar" is the best 2009 album so far.
