  • YES!!!! this is so sick.

  • @PennyChasingLane glad u liked!

  • You d'a man Seasick Steve!! A true modern day bluesman, busking, and playing like he own's the city's street-side. It's good to see him "back out west", but unlike playing on stage in the UK, he's on the street in the US! Keep on playin' Steve!

  • shame on you that one person who disliked >:(

  • And something about this just makes the songs sound even more epic!

REALLY hope to see these guys when they're in the UK next!

  • I love Seasick Steve!! I'm glad I wasn't there that day because I would have kidnapped him and kept him in my house as my prisoner! Ok the world would lose a true living legend and musical genius but fuck the world I'd have him singing live everyday!! I'd even make him sing in the bathroom while I took a shower!!

  • cant believe people just walked past!!

  • raw an real dats the blues

  • i love this guys, they playing for fun not for fame.

you can tell from seeing their faces they got so much fun doing it.

    what a great vid.

  • The real deal is practically giving a free concert, and people just keep strolling right on by like he doesn't exist. If there ever was a sign of how completely oblivious and careless today's society really is, this would be it. Thanks for posting!

  • So glad to see someone that looks like me make it! Love this mofo!!

  • dude! you were so lucky to catch that on camera! steve and his awesome friend are true busketeers!

  • @NinjaLeftovers damned lucky! what a moment!

  • I'm surprised there isn't like 1000 people with camera's. If I were there, I would pay $100 to see him like that

  • This is so not a joke, I got into Sea Sick Steve one day and loved his work. Then I checked that same day to see if he is going to be touring in my area. And that NIGHT he had finished a show in SF a few towns over from me. I was PISSED I didn't listen to him earlier.

  • i want to do this when i go to san francisco

  • @kingiam91 Do It!

  • @mikedx1 yeh totally man, you can play the percussion if you like :D

  • @kingiam91 sounds good!

  • @kingiam91 You know, the Problem is POLICE must be BRIBED by "AGENT" because there are "LAWS AGAINST AMPLIFIERS" by "POOR-TRAMP-LOOKING" Street Musicians.

I was harrased on Haight Street several years ago, but I NOW KEEP MY AMPLIFIER in a "KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN BOX!" and Turn the VOLUME down if I See POLICE looking! I Play a BIG L-5 CES "JAZZ GUITAR" so with CREATIVE LYING I can fake a "NO AMPLIFIER" defense!

  • @boxcarro "POLICE REALLY DO NOT WANT TO HARASS GUITARISTS, We are BETTER than Pan Handlers!" THE GOD DAMN MERCHANTS are the "BITCHES WHO FUCK WITH WORKING MEN!" I came back from AUSTIN over labor day.

  • i wondered if it was his son too but this was with Dan Magnusson

  • If I saw Seasick Steve and his son playing on the street corner, I would shit myself!

  • @centipedeBJ Thats his son??????? How old is he?

  • Do not miss Drummer Dan Magnusson, also playing on the song Mantra, by the Swedish band Magnolia!!

  • Brilliant

  • Steve you are a legend

  • need him in oz

  • This is what it is all about so cool

  • Trouble is, when he does break in USA, we'll never see him in Europe again. It takes so much time travelling to promote over there, and he says he hates travelling, he'll concentrate on that market.

By the way, have you ever wondered what his guitar case looks like?

  • How lucky are you! Awesome seeing Seasick Steve live like this. One of the best musicians around at the moment.

  • On the Seasick Steve Facebook page this a.m.~"Steve says thanks to the passerby who filmed on Haight ... This is his favorite youtube clip!"

  • everyone likes! =D

  • Lovely to see folks playing for the fun of it.... despite the concert booking etc.... love to see more musicians getting out there!

  • just goes to show quality will out.

  • he's a millionaire !!!!........

  • Haighters gonna Haight!

  • Dan Magnusson is a badass too !

  • glorious !

  • I liked that Steve seemd somewhat shy when he was recognized... More artists need to do this... Shows a true artist right there

  • @TBOwi

    Totally agree........

Unlike all the other manufactured talentless idiots that the music industry seems to be full of!

    This is real talent!

  • yeah, it was totally by accident. i knew he was doing a show the next nite in town but was just walking on haight st, recognized him from pictures (and his name was on his guitar), and started filming... (lucky i had my camera with).... it's one of my favorite videos!

  • @mikedx1 Well done man (great recording), but can i ask for future reference was there like a huge bunch of photographers (press etc;) behind you, or was it only you.

  • @FunnyStashVideos i was the only one filming.... a small crowd gathered to watch him play.... there were three or four different people busking on different parts of haight street that day... one or two (british) people recognized him, but the others just stopped to watch because he was so good

  • very lucky video :D

  • he just recently signed with Jack White's Third Man Records for US distribution...

  • Didnt know he was with Jack White. awesome Like to see the two of them jam!! Seasick is certainly sick
