This is one of my favorites because of Diana...if you love this, get the "Look of Love" CD. I put my headphones on at night and it sends me to sleep night after night. I think it sounds a little better on the CD, but the music at the end does it for me...it is haughting beautiful.....

A little piece of history on this song; This song was written by Victor Young, lyrics by Edward Heyman and was written for the movie 'Love Letters" in 1945. This song was nominated for an Academy Award for that year. The movie is really really good (but you have to get the original movie from 1945)& it is hard to find....anyway I LOVE this song and the music at the end of the song is hypnotic. I listen to it at night on my MP3 player and fall to sleep, good song for insomnia.

To understand why I don't like Diana Krall, listen to Dinah Washington's or Nat KIng Cole's version of this song, THAT's how you sing it!

I won't deny that Diana Krall has a good voice, but everthing Diana Krall touches lacks any emotion and because of that I can't label her a great artist.

The orchestra is a good backing for DK, she conveys so much emotion through her voice alone but it all comes through much more vividly with the strings and horns of an orchestra. Diana Krall is picking up from where Nat King Cole left off keep it up DK.
