great job you're doing. i'm amazed at how they can pick up things so quickly. i'm starting one of ours. he is the first one i've ever done. i can't wait to get our other little one started!
hi shannon--- i to have been a fan of yor vids for some time now, yur talent will bring u much success i am sure. good luck in school... thanks for sharing a piece of yur world..:)
lovely! make sure to start on time with the development of all his musceles and also his collection! itll make everything alot easier later when u need to colelct! im not sayin hes not musceled but itd be lovely if he had full grown musceles!
youre horse is doing so much better than mine! im traing my 3 y/o right now too and i rode her for the first time undersaddle today and lets just say i landed on a fence to make a long story short!....=P
I agree! It is lovely to be able to see how she is progressing! You are great with her and she obviously trusts you! Good job!! Oh and Merry Christmas!!x
Great job! Thx for showing w/ground person & w/o ground person. Nice workning thru confusion & "get to work" attitude. Nicely balanced youngster! There was a comment about your arms being stiff that I disagree with. When starting youngsters you have to be careful with your hands and give them room so they don't get bumped in the mouth, which is what you were doing. This is only her 3rd time ridden! If they had watched your other vids they would notice you were just accomodating a greenie. ;)
It is so exciting to see Hermosa progress so well and so quickly. She looks so balanced already! Absoulutely amazing. You're a great rider and trainer! Looking forward to seeing more work with her. :)
you look awesome on this horse!! beautfiul horse btw....but just try bending your elbows a bit more...you look just a tad bit stiff but besides that youa re doing an awesome job!!!!
I love how balanced she is in her light trotwork already now so fast. Shes doing so darn well its amazing to watch. Thanks for sharing this lovely experience with us all. And im so happy to see you updating some new footage so often. I realy missed that alot.
Quite balanced for her first canter actually. She has a slight rock, not the smoothest canter, but by far also not the choppiest. Just a nice little canter. The more strength and balance she does get it will improve and be easily even more pleasant.
wow. you couldn't tell this is her 3rd ride! GREAT JOB! shes going to be a great horse. but i must say, you never know how the horse is going to be. when she gets her confidence she will try to do stuff. like the young mare i started out under saddle. she was great all summer! i even tought her to jump, then she gained her confidence and decided to try and drag me when i was leading her to the ring and she got loose, fell, and ran away. stupid confidence ;P haha.GREAT JOB THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you. I have jumped, but I have never had any official lessons. I have been trying to work something out to take my guy out for some jumping lessons. I would like to learn some jumping just for the experience.
shes beautiful ! she looks like shes been ridden alot but only 3 times ? my friend was training her horse & on the 3rd ride her horse buucked her off and reared with me !
She is so beautiful! I love the way you work with horses, does her owner have a specific disapline in mind for her? her trot looks so nice and she seems to naturally work in a forward reaching trot. When she isnt a tad confused which was very sweet!
I think she will be a fantastic dressage horse, she doesnt seem to be fazed by much at all. Will you continue to workwith her even when her mummys on board? I would love to see her progress over a long time. Could you tell me what happend to the grey, arab i think, you wokred with?
That is the plan. Mom would like to work and show with Mo, but also have me work with her and continue her training. I still see the arab, Sabi. I am not currently working with him as his owner is having me focus more on her other young mare and getting her started and going. His owner is consistently riding him now though and very happy.
thats amazing for her 3rd ride, i've never seen any horse that i have been around do that and there were 3 or 4 years old!!! great job keep up the amazing work!! :)
Absolutely her owner is looking forward to riding her. She is going to wait until she gets a little more solid under saddle though. Wonderful and amazing as she is on the 3rd ride, she is still a baby with a lot of strength to gain and things to learn. (Which she seems to have no problem with)
Oh good :) I thought it was one of those situations where the owner buys the horse as an investment and then hires someone else as the rider(if that even makes sense haha) I'm glad to hear that her owner will start to ride eventually! If that was my baby I would want to be there ever step of the way :D She's such a cute little thing!
she/he(im not sure which) is so pretty. he?she moves so gracefully!

whoa. now that is a SMART mare.
shes very consistent, as the first canter she kept disuniting and switching leads, and the second she got the lead and kept it.
beautiful mare, must be a pleasure to train.
horseluver171717 3 years ago
She is wonderful. Just thought I would mention she kept both her leads correctly from the start. She never switched or disunited. :D
