  • would you be interested in making another set? id love to rock these in my runner... are you on t4r.org?

  • thats cool i want the blue lights for my 88 4runner would ya no were i can get them in OR

  • 00:47 ghost door???

  • nice set up man i like it! didn't even know they had switchback for the 194 bulb!

  • where did you get the bulbs from?

  • @killbilltwo I got all of the LEDs from forum members on HIDPlanet. I used Nichia, Lumileds, and CREE brand LEDs. Don't settle for a knockoff brand; they won't be as bright, last as long, or be uniform in color. I built the LED arrays, these aren't your typical Plug and Play bulbs. I got all of my HID stuff from The Retrofit Source.

  • i would love to know how to do that on the bottom lights cuz i have hids in my 4runner and i also want to know how to put on my bottom lights

  • Awesome man i can't wait to check it out ! I'm actually checking out your post on yotatech right now.

  • I've never been one to copy what somebody else has done but with those lights and the music video it really gets me. I'm thinking of buying an led kit and doing it. Did you get that off of yotatech ?

  • O Sweet thanks a lot ! I really wasn't expecting a response so soon. I just bought a 98 4Runner limited and it needs a upgrade on the lights department.

  • Are those HID 8000k

  • Are those Hids 8000k

  • @23daedal No, they are actually 6000k. Anything higher than that and you start to lose actual light output (lumens). I'm actually running 5000k now and it's noticeably brighter.

  • Did anybody who did this to there 4Runner do the same to there tail lights

  • @23daedal I actually have installed LEDs in my tail lights as well... just haven't posted a video up since I completed it. I made custom LED boards for them as well, I didn't use the PnP bulbs.

  • nice .. how did u make the relays to work ?>

  • @fronteraomar

Thanks. I wired the DRLs and marker lights to the normally closed terminal of the SPDT relay. The turn signal is attached to the normally open terminal. When the turn signal is activated the relay cuts power to the white lights and powers up the amber, alternating back and forth.
