Is this a good team for the elite four? Typhlosion lv 63 Docile Nature Flamethrower Cut Strength Focus Punch Ampharos lv 48 Jolly Nature Thunder Discharge Iron Tail Light Screen Crobat lv 46 Jolly Nature Sludge Bomb Fly Cross Poison Air Cutter Poliwrath(More of an HM Slave) lv 48 Waterfall Whirlpool(I'm gonna replace it with Dig or Rock Slide) Surf Submission Espeon lv50 Hardy Nature Future Sight Last Resort Swift Psybeam Tyranitar lv 57 Brave Nature Earthquake Aerial Ace Rock Slide Crunch
Your Gengar is not that good... Hypnosis and Dream Eater settup is slow and redundant, Gengars S. Attack is good enough to 1 shot most opponents. Modest Nature, 252 EV in S. Attack, 252 in speed, 4 in HP.(If it is story mode you can ignore this) It should know the following moves: Shadow Ball, Psychic, Thunderbolt, Energy Ball. Easily 1 Hit KO's Ghost, Psychic, Fighting, Poison, Water, Flying, Ground and Rock Types.
@EpicGamesBro Dude, this is clearly a story mode 'team'. He has dream eater just for fun, since he can outspeed and 1HKO most pokes with his stab shadow ball (in story mode). Also, it is not MANDATORY that a gengar has to be the stereotypical sweeper. being original and unexpected is what will give you an advantage in competative play.
@pavichokche I understand bro, I don't play competitive Pokemon because it is garbage, I just enjoy the storymode of Soul Silver for nostalgic reasons and thats it (Kanto and Johto are awesome, rest is garbage). I do however want to have the semi-best/best stats for the Pokemon I lvl up and play with. This is my team:
@CoDZombiezFreaK Train sandslash, Gyarados and Primeape at Victory Road and try and get them to level 40 - 45+, Aerodactyl and Electrode in Route 26 and 27
I'm having like a lot of trouble beating Lance! The elite 4 weakened my pokemon! My pokemon team isn't so awesome :( This is my team in SS.....
Feraligator lv64
Lugia lv45
Bayleef lv24
Drowzee lv12
Miltank lv18
Abra lv10
Any advice? Please give me some advice about the pokemon I shud use and about how many Pokemon healing potions I shud keep just in case! I've tride 10 times and I've failed!
@JAPgally4340 Ouch, that doesn't look very good. Since you've clearly spent most of the game focusing on your starter, you should continue in the same key. So my suggestion is to level him and lugia up a bit more, and then try again using just them. Teach feraligator outrage from the move tutor, as well as crunch or shadow claw. Buy many spd. up from the store, as well as max/hyper potions and defense/sp. defense ups. Buy as many of the stat up items as you can afford.
@pavichokche Keep in mind that if you switch out or have the pokemon die, the stat items' effects wear off, so you need to use them again when you switch back in. So now with feraligator as a lead, in the beginning of every battle use two speed ups, and one or two of each def and sp. def ups, as well as one or two atk ups. Make sure that you keep your health up with potions so that you don't get knocked out during this process. Then just sweep with super effective moves.
@pavichokche If feraligator gets knocked out, switch in to lugia (if it makes sense) or switch in to one of the low-level pokes. Use a max revive on feraligator (or lugia, whichever you want to switch in) and when they get knocked out on the first turn (they will) switch back to the now revived feraligator (or lugia). If you're using lugia in one of the battles (if it has the super effective move) then follow the same stat item boost strategy as for feraligator, but with sp atk ups.
@pavichokche Thx 4 the advice! How shud I level up my pokemon faster? I followed ur advice but my pokemon are weak and I can't just go out intot the wild and battle a bunch of pokemon because it takes 4ever and it's a bit of a head ache when u do that same thing over and over again. Any advice besides using the "candy"?
@JAPgally4340 Well, using rare candies isn't a bad thing, as they have no negative effects. You could find an online guide listing all the locations and go on a scavenger hunt. But anyway, other than that I can suggest using ATK UPs and maybe HP UPs on feraligator (they give 10 atk/hp EVs a pop for a maximum of 100 points). As far as training goes, I'm afraid I can't help you, as I never do that. You should check online for the 'best training/grinding locations' in your game.
@JAPgally4340 Teach Feraligator an ice move or dragon move and use it against Lance's 3 Dragonites and his Charizard. Use Luigia against his two pokemon. If your pokemon are low health switch to one of your weaker pokemon and heal your stronger ones.
I would like to train my Pokémons in SS but I haven't any friend who plays Pokémon so is challenging the Elite Four a good idea to train the Pokémons?
@claudianekoears I used traded pokemon, all holding lucky eggs. Also I used just 3 of them during the game. If you use more than 2-3, they will all have too low levels since the experience have to be split between more of them.
@pavichokche Ariados/Venomoth are bug/poison. Dream Eater would've been super effective on both. Sorry if someone already told you this, but I don't waste time going through the comments :P
I am thinking my team will change when I have chance to catch the legendaries because I like the legendaries, I got Raikou and Entei so far, aslong will Lugia, in SoulSilver should I use my Masterball on Ho-Oh?
man all my pokemon was defeat by the first guy in the elite four except my mewtwo and that single pokemon took me all the way to the elite four champ...i love my mewtwo
I've allways wanted to know WHY THE GYM LEADERS AND ELITE FOUR ARE SO DUMBASSES!!! If they sent any pokemon, you retrieve the one fighting and send one with advantage, you easily win and fight the next round.
In pokemon stadium 2 (at least, don't know the others) fighting gym leaders and elite four is quite a challenge.
@kagssegal geez its easy (not to show off) you dont need super high level pokemon just around level 45-50 and a lot of hyper potions/full restores lol. good strategy and stuff like that
@dabeest501 That's what I've been trying to do =( I thought buying a 100 potions and stuff will help but that just takes up my turn and the Elite four dude uses Psychic power and that kills me. =( I've made it to the 4th elite girl but failed and now I die before I reach the second.
@dabeest501 Yes, but even though I may have loads of hyper potions and stuff that helps and all but even if my pokemon get hit once, they faint. My pokemon does little effect on the elite's pokemon. May I ask what pokemon you had to beat the elite four and where you got them? My friend traded me this powerful ghost-type pokemon which helps but I still faint. Should I get a Protect power or something or disable.. I'm clueless lolz
@kagssegal sorry i havent replied lately a bit busy. but if i remember clearly i used feraligatr, electrode, graveler, gyrados, lugia, and i think......i dont remember.. but i rarely used graveler and lugia, what pokemon do you use?
@dabeest501 Kangaskhan Lvl 33 Misdreavus lvl 37 Fearow lvl 32 Golem lvl 63 Celebi lvl 51 and then sometimes I try to beat them with Meganium lvl 36 and Azumarill lvl 32.. I'm trying to level them up but it takes forever and I hate doing that.
@dabeest501 Actually..no only water moves I think he knows waterfall, surf, aqua ring and..something else can't remember it's probably just a water protect or shield something like that. Should I teach him ice moves? I want an ice and fire pokemon. I should of picked that fire pokemon with professor Oak in the beginning instead I picked that grass type pokemon which is sooo common =( I try to find more water pokemon but I keep getting stupid tentacruels or whatever those jellyfish are called..
@kagssegal yea you should teach your azumarill an ice moves because you need it to defeat lance, and make sure your golem knows a good solid rock move. does the misdreavus know a ghost move or the kangaskhan know shadow claw or ball for will? ( i would choose shadow claw (TM 65)) and your fearow should be fine just a few more level ups. does your kangaskhan know any fighting moves for the elite four karen? and does your misdreavus know psychic moves for koga? sorry for all the questions lol.
@dabeest501 It's fine. I need to go on my game to check but I haven't had the time yet for my DS! I'm on a trip but when I get back or whenever I can check I'll be sure to answer them all for you. You're my only hope to help me out! But I'll be sure to reply when I go on my game. Just curious. Do u play any other pokemon games? Pokemon White? Black?
@dabeest501 Okay well fortunately I was able to beat the elite four finally! by consuming loads of potions and power-ups. Now to answer questions: Azumarill I don't think knows any ice moves. If it does it would only know blizzard. Golem knows all these rock moves: Roll Out(Which personally I like that best) Rock Smash.. uhm trying to remember but I think it also knows the one where it moves boulders out of the way and this other rock move where it throws a rock at the target.
@dabeest501@dabeest501 Okay well fortunately I was able to beat the elite four finally! by consuming loads of potions and power-ups. @dabeest501 I think my misdreavus knows shadow ball uhm... I left my DS at my moms house..but it does know some good ghost moves it also knows payback I think. I didn't use Kangaskhan for the elite four but she knows some rock moves and earthy moves. Now I remember I got my Golem a fighting move lol I'm all confused but yes it's Strength I got him I switched out rock throw for strength. Misdreavus and Celebi knows some psychic moves but not the actual move called "Psychic" Koga is the hardest!
@sumitpal808 I only used DeSmuMe to record this video. I actually played the game on a flashkart on my ds. But if you really need a Gengar, look into something called pokesav.
@pavichokche No disrespect, but I hate when people illegally download the game and won't splash the cash to buy it, I mean you can buy a DS but not the games?
@samdom223 i got dratini from dragons den, the first evolution of ampharos from the beginning of the game, and heracross from headbutting tress in azalea town.
@RBLXBurntoast78 you know you couldve kept it and kept beating the trainers you could in the elite four then your pokemon would get stronger then you could actully beat them like me i almost beta lance cause i did that :]
I've lost a few times against the Elite Four. Probably because I chose the grass type... But my Meganium is a bad mamma jamma now at Lv. 65. He's ready to take them on any day now, but his comrades (Lugia, Gyarados, and Feraligatr) aren't, at least not yet...
I need help! My strongest is level 47 and my weakest is 33! I have A 33 a 36 a 37 a 35 a 41 and a 47! I cant beat the elite four! Any suggestions where i should train?
@Tawarf91 Start training them more, you need a balance team with levels close to each other. Try trading from your friends, traded pokemon grow levels really fast. But you need a varity of attacks to help you respond to the elite four attacks. But I'm sure you'll pull it off.
@OmegaGamer100 It's because I only use 3 that they are all at such high levels after 14 hours of gameplay. Also, what do you mean by "what a waste"??? A waste of what??? Because the only thing I'm doing is NOT wasting my time using more useless pokemon and playing through this boring storyline as quickly as possible.
@pavichokche ya but using more pokemon is a better chance of winning and is more fun to use and ur typlosion and togekiss nicknames make no sense y would u name them efreet and maxwell
@OmegaGamer100 More pokemon do not guarantee you a better chance of winning, only skill does. More pokemon DO, however, guarantee you lower levels and longer game play. As for the names, I'll name my pokemon whatever the fu*k I want! Now go write retarded comments on someone else's videos !!!
@The777utube Haha, no. It just that I'm using something called a "super-effective" move. Also, my pokemon are what some call "EV trained", meaning that they are significantly stronger.
@wetyu88 It's a special way you train your pokemon such that they develop certain stats, making them ultimately stronger. Look into it online, there are many comprehensive guides and such :)
@Phatolot Haha, it's called a flashkart, it allows you to play roms ON your DS and use all the features that you would be able to if you had the real game.
I want to trade my Haunter so it can evolve into Gengar. I know that my Haunter will evolve in your game into a Gengar, and I want a Gengar for ME. So I'd like you to trade me an Haunter, as well.
This way we'd both get a Gengar. PM me to this account, if interested, please.
I try to fight the elite four but I can only get as far as Lance with one pokemon.
Is this a good team or should I change?
Togetic lv.46,Meganium lv 49,Lugia lv.53,Pidgeotto lv.25 (being trained), and is tring to catch Entei and Richou.

@sumitpal808 I only used DeSmuMe to record this video. I actually played the game on a flashkart on my ds. But if you really need a Gengar, look into something called pokesav.

infernoboi92 1 year ago
I've lost a few times against the Elite Four. Probably because I chose the grass type... But my Meganium is a bad mamma jamma now at Lv. 65. He's ready to take them on any day now, but his comrades (Lugia, Gyarados, and Feraligatr) aren't, at least not yet...

I need help! My strongest is level 47 and my weakest is 33! I have A 33 a 36 a 37 a 35 a 41 and a 47! I cant beat the elite four! Any suggestions where i should train?
Tawarf91 1 year ago
@Tawarf91 Start training them more, you need a balance team with levels close to each other. Try trading from your friends, traded pokemon grow levels really fast. But you need a varity of attacks to help you respond to the elite four attacks. But I'm sure you'll pull it off.
payneicecold3000 1 year ago
@Tawarf91 Your going to have to grind in the cave before the elite 4 place! im grinding my Lavitar atm so you're not alone!

u team sucks u only use three guy wat a watse
OmegaGamer100 1 year ago
@OmegaGamer100 It's because I only use 3 that they are all at such high levels after 14 hours of gameplay. Also, what do you mean by "what a waste"??? A waste of what??? Because the only thing I'm doing is NOT wasting my time using more useless pokemon and playing through this boring storyline as quickly as possible.
pavichokche 1 year ago
@pavichokche ya but using more pokemon is a better chance of winning and is more fun to use and ur typlosion and togekiss nicknames make no sense y would u name them efreet and maxwell
OmegaGamer100 1 year ago
@OmegaGamer100 More pokemon do not guarantee you a better chance of winning, only skill does. More pokemon DO, however, guarantee you lower levels and longer game play. As for the names, I'll name my pokemon whatever the fu*k I want! Now go write retarded comments on someone else's videos !!!

@The777utube Haha, no. It just that I'm using something called a "super-effective" move. Also, my pokemon are what some call "EV trained", meaning that they are significantly stronger.
pavichokche 1 year ago
@pavichokche what do you mean by EV trained ? Sorry never heard that before, I had to ask
wetyu88 1 year ago
@wetyu88 It's a special way you train your pokemon such that they develop certain stats, making them ultimately stronger. Look into it online, there are many comprehensive guides and such :)

How did you get a Gengar if you're using an emulator?
Airoceisis9 1 year ago
I want to trade my Haunter so it can evolve into Gengar. I know that my Haunter will evolve in your game into a Gengar, and I want a Gengar for ME. So I'd like you to trade me an Haunter, as well.
This way we'd both get a Gengar. PM me to this account, if interested, please.
