I want to get a dredge I can carry up the river a ways. Would you think a 2" dredge would be better if you were to lug it around through the woods. I really like yours though.

@pbr2424 I think definitely should have a air compressor to it. if you wanna reach down to the gold in deep cracks or deep in packed soil.
Its a bit more heavier then the 2" to carry around but almost double the suction capacity.

How many hours will this dredge run on a gallon of gas? I am looking to start dredging and trying to get an idea. Thanks!
