It's obvious that he's playing through a Roland Jazz Chorus with that chorus...which isn't that good... normally he has a much warmer sound and much warmer chorus, that is not really a chorus, but pitch change on the Yamaha SPX90 ;)
Such a great player, yet the Pacifica guitar and the chorus are doing him no favors. I'd love to hear this on a 335 through a class A tube amp and just some tasty reverb.
I´m pretty sure it´s Chris Minh Doky. Clothing, bass type and playing style are heavy indicators. He actually does a lot of metric stuff although he has the bottom role. And he manages to stay controlled still. Great playing.
