what is the relevance of rococo in this song? rococo is like embellishment, ornamentation from a certian period, used in painting, music.. But like why here? And also, now that im on this track, is neon bible referring to the internet. AND... if they didnt want the water rising above the windowsill - why move to canada, the icebergs will melt their first, and would take at least a day before it hit the southern hemisphere windowsills. But then there is the antartic.. id say brazil is cool

@willzer808 Not exactly sure how high you are, but here are your answers. Rococo is referring to the hipster movement that has forgotten substance for style. Neon Bible is about capitalism. Windowsill is about the United States collapsing in several ways and Win Butler wondering if it will be the metaphorical fire or the flood that will get it.

Geez, we're all connected by Twitter and Facebook. Can't we start a movement to get these guys played on the radio? Top 40 radio is polluted with hip-hop and vacuous dance-pop, and has been for years. There used to be movements in rock, where a new sound emerged and swept out the old. In the early '90s, Nirvana emerged to wipe away the hair-metal sound. A lot of great alternative music made it on the charts. Can it happen again? Can we start a movement? Suggestions?
