it's pretty nice (I'm a drummer too) but you should do something about your expression, your mouth ;) and you look shy.. but overall it's pretty good!
@bulok1979 true. im looking for a band, but not very intensive. im still young and dont have a job to make constantly mony to buy a better drumset and stuff. Im experienced, but not with a band.
@bulok1979 thanks, i think i will find a band but slowly.. the people in my band has to be from my age, 1 year older or younger is no problem but my skills of drummer are a bit higher than that from my mates so in 10 years i will change band i think!
hey great cover. maybe next time in the chorus if u dont keep hitting the other crash it would kinda sound more better. so im mean like for future reference just hit the one crash and maybe the other crash occasionally during the chorus. lissten to chad when they play live! other than that great cover
pretty good, rolands right? The bass drum soulds a little distorted but you know electronic sets are funky. Overall good job, not that hard of a song but you did it pretty much right on
I guess, if you wanted to. Basically, the mp3 player mixes in with the drums. If you turn the metronome on you will hear that too (as well as the recording if your doing it for youtube.)
I wear the headphones because I dont have a good amp setup for the drums.
Have you 90% of the recordings that use real drums on youtube? They are horrible. Really bad. It costs a lot of money to buy a mixing board and good mics to get a good RECORDED sound out of acoustics.
But you're right, the actual drums are cheaper and they do sound real. In person.
you're right. Many people underestimate the power of e drum. lol.
Nowadays, e drum becomes better and better, especially this td3. It has features almost everything like acoustic. Not mentioning other features and advantages, such as small, quite, metronome, kit presets, easy for recording, aux in for practicing songs, etc etc etc.lol
Dude i dont give a fuck what they other say you dont look unhappy you holding the woods wrong, you play the track as it should be and that's the best point out of the song 5/5 because i have been playing it before and out and peform with the song and it's just like that. It's a really good job you've done right here, and that's why you should get some credit from other's : )
I seen the single trigger kit toys cymbals - they look nice. If I had more outputs I might get them. The triggers are fine as they are for the drums. The TD-3 doesn't support dual trigger toms, only the snare.
Hey man this is great! Where did you get a kit with all mesh heads? i have a TD-3 but there is just one mesh head. I atually don't like the mesh heads. I thing the rim is a bit to thick and somethimes i hit it when i don't mean to. Do you have this problem? If so how did you fix it?
I got it from drumbalaya, I really like the mesh heads. I used to hit the rim a lot, but if you angle the drums just right it wont happen much at all. And it forces you to be more accurate too...
well played, but i'm not mad about your bass drum sound, sounds a bit too artificial and doesnt match the rest of the kit. is there anything you can do about that?
You seem a little tense but it sounds good so its not that much of a problem.
When you do the Ghost Notes work on your doubles and having all your fingers on the stick not just your index finger and thumb it makes it easier but it feels weird at first.
Not really, thats how I feel when I listen to some of the harder songs. It's all in muscle memory - practice enough and you won't have to think so hard to apply what you want to play to the kit. Not that I'm a good example of that :)
ya u sound good man im working on the same song right now but in my personal opinion i think the intro leading up to the chorus and the bridges are different and the chorus just a tad bit different. either look up tabs or look @ mine when i put it up. Otherwise ur good by the ear
nice cover man very nice im working on this song right now only had my set for 2 days lol but its in blood drumming so yea im pretty good for 2 days but once again good job
Dude, Just relax. it looks like you're trying too hard. Make sure to feel the music because that's half of it. Get loose and don't worry, cuz you're good.
hehe, it looks like I'm trying too hard because I am! I find when I am trying to do a cover I have to concentrate quite a bit but I still enjoy it though :)
Hey, don't worry! I've never met a drummer (myself included) who didn't make weird or realllllly serious faces when they played drums. I mean, we got a lot to think about! Okay, so maybe some of us look like we're taking a shit but... hahaha, not YOU, though!
Maybe if I chew gum or something it might make me look more relaxed. When I'm drumming of course, not when I'm taking a shit. Lol..why are we talking about bowel movements again?
It should be pretty damn close though - Its not so bad as to say it ruined the cover or anything. I also missed some noticable crashes, at least one or 2.
unfortunately my TD3 doesn't list what they are. I just choose a number. Its very basic but there are some good sounds.
not sure how the td6 works but I just went through and picked each one that sounded the best and saved it. I have about 3 saved kits that I switch between.
good cover... but the slamming on the crash cymbals really takes away from the rest of it because it just starts to sound really static-ish and bad. maybe tone down the crashes or even opt for the ride
I know what you're saying - if it was a final draft or an album worthy mix, I'm sure they would tone down the crash sound so it mixes in. I'm almost positive he uses his crash though....
yea the reason i love acoustic is because if someone sees u playing electric drum sets and ur playing really good then it doesnt really look as if ur playing but if ur playing an acoustic it actually looks like ur playing and acoustics look sweeter

@bulok1979 it may be concentration too, but if you upload something like this, you have'nt only to think about what you are doing, but how it looks

@TheTwicey
lol, yeah,,concentration too,,specially if your playing live with a band,,drummers always at the back,,always near the bass players amps,,lol
and its easier to notice when the drummer made a mistake as compared to the guitars..unless its really a big mistake on the guitarists part. hehe
