I agree. it's not like they couldn't just add these guys to the roster. It seems like there'd be very few clones other than they Ky, Sol and Pokemon. I've never played the game, but judging from the videos, those seem like they'd be the only clones. Besides, it's not like the guilty gear story ended correctly or has been moved forward at all. GG has actually been pulling a SF2.

looks awesome. my guess is that it is inspired of darkstalkers in its cartoony animations and style (sans the horror element). maybe a result of the cancelled darkstalkers/guilty gear game that were rumored some years ago

Instead of making this crap they should have re made Guilty Gear with these graphics and used the new gen consoles large disc capacity to include the entire story line and a conclusion for each character. Blaze Blue is nothing compared to guilty gear.

the ending to the GG story doesn't enhance it. Lol, i can say that without knowing it, simply because there has never been a fighting game that has been enhanced by the story.

Also, I think most people would rather have new characters. GG, while i like it (it'll probably be back anyways), has gotten a lil stagnant. New characters FTW.

...and if it makes you feel better, this is supposed to be a prequel of sorts, or so i hear. lol

i don't think 'copy' is the right word here... now, if this game had ALL the same features as GG (Faultless, Roman Cancel, Dead Angle, Dust, Instant Kill), and offered nothing new, then yes. If u mean lookswise, then of course its similar- same company. But you wouldn't call Darkstalkers a copy of Street Fighter, yea? New GG + 3 characters sounds good, too. I like HnK too, but i feel fairly certain that this will play better.
