@ilk it's depend how a person holding ... If like they show u here.. Yes u can defense that..but if someone hold but has the blade back to his or her hand then yes rum or u better be very fast to defend 2 moves and so many system..
Nice moves! Looks like systema. But about the knife defense: i hope that everyone knows that a knife is very dificult to defense against. You'd better run or use your gun to defend yourself against knife atacks like this.
no one ever uses a knife like that. It's fuckin suicide to teach people to deal with knife attacks like that really stupid they need to update it. A knife attacker if he knows what he's doing is just gonna keep his distance and slash your arm and you'll bleed out in a few seconds. also anyone with any submission grappling experience would kill this guy if he tried these stupid little techniques.
I agree krav maga has much better real life application.
ninjitsu is for pussy ass faggots that dont want to get raped. these pusses do presure points and shit. learn real fighting like krav maga u little shits
Does anybody know anything about "Krav Maga" and how I can join the pack. See I have the book of Krav Maga but now all I need is practice or sparing with a partner. The book is written by Darren Levine and someone else as an co-writing I think. But I need practice, I can read and continue to shadow, but like I mentioned I need to join a group or martial arts or the "arts" to actually see what I'm doing and how I can correct anything thats wrong. Thanks.
@TheBlackbeltgang dude you cant learn "krav maga" from a book! or any other martial art. i dont know where you live but google it and try to find "krav maga" close to you home. and dont find partner to practice with cause one of you guys can get hurt. you need to do it with a real instructor.
@COOH28 It's not very impressive because they are instructing the students how to perform different takedowns, since when were instructions impressive?
Also Yasam is a special police force so in a sense yes, they are special forces.
Basic concept seems to be controlling the outside of the nearest arm above the elbow and moving to either the foe's 11 or 1 o' clock to get behind him.

i dont know why you take issue with what i said? personally i have no problem with haliva other than that he is fraudulently claiming to know ninjutsu...
i dont care about what he can do, i care that he is honest about how he learned it and what it is, and you and i both know this is not ninjutsu

@Creationsofmyown -- Come on, Man. You're obviously on a Bullshido mission to bring the guy down. I just think you're being square about it. The guy is a talented martial artist -- my opinion. skilled? he know basic Krav Maga, (everyon in israeli military does)

thats right... for 50 bucks you can be a master in whatever martial art you want... he will even send you a black belt and a certificate... the whole story is up on Bullshido, have a look
@Creationsofmyown - What I see is Gadi Kenpo Jitsu, which I also learned in Israel under Itay Gil. That is certainly not basic Krav Maga, which I also studied in the IDF. As you probably know, we use the words "krav maga" loosely in Israel, but there are many schools and forms (Gadi, Dennis, etc) which contract with the IDF and police. I can't comment on Ninjitsu, because I know nothing about it. Whether it's legit Ninjutsu or not, the guy is a skilled and well-rounded martial artist.
@Creationsofmyown -- Continued.... He studied for many years with top guys (Gadi Skornik). His timing is impeccable. Every teacher adds his own elements. Who cares what it's called? It came from somewhere and it's effective. FYI, I don't know him personally, but I know skills when I see them.
how can your timing be anything but impeccable when your dummy is waiting for your move? its clearly been rehearsed... only an idiot would do a demo unrehearsed...
what element did Van Yuren add??
and ty for clarifying about the kenpo.
personally i dont know why someone would train legitimately only to sell out and fake it in the endgame... i guess real dojos dont make enough money... better slap ninjutsu on it and charge double.
@Creationsofmyown -- again, I know nothing about Van Yuren beyond what I read at Bullshido. Moreover, as I've clearly stated, I'm not concerned about the origin of what he does or how he markets it. All that matters to me is if the instructor is professional -- and I am very impressed with Haliva's execution of techniques.
@Creationsofmyown -- FYI re your comment on Kenpo... Gadi Kenpo Jitsu isn't Kenpo as we know it in the US. Fact is, I don't know the precise origin... Kancho Skornik is old school Kodokan and studied a variety of Japanese arts. I suspect various schools of Jujutsu, but he also integrated Kyukoshin, etc. It's a mixed martial art. His students have a wide range of skills -- I've always been impressed. I think Haliva pursued his Ninjitsu afterwards. What's wrong with that?
whats wrong? he is lying to people... for someone who claims to be concerned with how professional his teacher is, wouldnt lying about where you learned what you learned be a little unprofessional?
@creationsofmyown- by professional I mean that there's a highly likely scenario of him kicking your ass. prfession doesn't refer to BS politics. Instead of attacking me over my martial arts morals or ethics (of which I have none) why not just challenge the guy and see if he'll accept. Btw, I have no indications that he's lying about anything. You're taking this stuff very seriously - like on a mission to save the world or something. Relax. Life is short.
your right.. life is short... too short to allow other people to learn a fake martial art... only to then spread that fake art around.
lets put it this way, the closest this guy has come to ninjutsu is ashida kim, the white dude from florida who decided to adopt a pseudonym and be a ninja grandmaster one day.
the same guy runs a martial arts diploma mill, for 50 US dollars anyone can be a master in anything. no demonstrations required
I like the technique in 5:54 it is very impressive, because it seems it could really work in reality against a dangerous attack like that and it would really shock potential surrounding enemies.
I always knew Ninjitsu has a great potential amongst law enforcement agencies that deal a lot with hand to hand and close quarter situations.
For one thing there are a lot of techniques in Ninjitsu developed against drawing a sword which today could be applied to drawing a gun or a knife.
also he defending wrong because when you do this move you should blow him with your weight and respone quick wich he didn't this ninjitsu good too I didn't say its not but its more difficult krav maga Its more simple and if you doing it right good as ninjitsu
no... krav maga has NO ninjutsu influence... this video is pure krav maga, no ninjutsu here... or anywhere else the last ninja died in the 60's his name was Seiko Fujita.
If you look at the "Israeli Ninja" video u'll see when this guy earned the grand master rank in Koga Ryu Ninjutsu. He has been learning at a master from age 10.Yes this is Ninjutsu and yes,he is a ninja.Yes,they are very very few ninjas, but he is one.
So you're saying the a well known Ninjutsu grand master faked a video? There is a video of a dicumentary from discovery on youtube called Martial arts or something. There they introduce ninjutsu and its style. You will recognize the similarities:P
he is a well known faker.... go ask about him in japan...
i dont give a fuck about a documentary... most "experts" arent even being asked about their field... most are just talkin out of their asses... maybe you should check out some debunks on martial arts documentaries...
there are hundred of ninjutsu masters around the world... i am a shodan in koga ryu.... and if you dont believe ninja exists... search for bujinkan and the soke Masaaki Hatsumi, i dont like bujinkan tecniques.. but is the greatest name around the world..
funny that you use a ranking system that was made up AFTER ninjutsu died.
the dan/kyu system is used in sports... judo kendo aikido as a general rule. the do arts are sport base, as opposed to kenjutsu aikijutsu jujutsu the combat arts.
cute that you post one of the largest frauds as your backup. Ueno Takashi is the successor of takamatsu, NOT HATSUMI. go research some more kid...
koka died with Seiko Fujita...
but humor me... which ha of koka(not koga) do you study?
koka, kouka, kohga, koga... any way.. its the same place... just some people listen and then "translate" it to what sounds better... i dont know who is sucessor of takamatsu... and i dont care about it or any other problem of bujinkan... and if you believe koka (as you prefer) died with fujita i cant do nothing.. i dont believe in that... if hatsumi dies today in a car accident you will afirm iga is dead too?
Not relating to ninjutsu, retards are also assholes who like to post overly inflated opinions on every single video. I've read your ridiculous comments and one of your post rants ran well over 30 posts. Get a life, take a chill pill, and calm the fuck down, do you really have THAT much free time to be checking your posts and youtube all the time??
I have to agree with Lywnis, Koga Ryu is a dead linage and the only current living Ninjutsu is X-Kans like Bujinkan, Genbukan or Jinenkan or modern Ninjutsu styles with roots in these....
All this is good for normal attackers huh? Yea. But, a good fighter is just that. There is no one technique that can defend against all people. Thats fact not opinion.
Guys, just to help u: Ninjutsu cant be learned by looking. Once u feel it by urself u release its completely different from how it looks like, and its much more complex than it looks.
Hope this helps and hope my english is good enough for u :)
your all wrong, so wrong, but i dont have time to show you. and the idiots in the octagon is going to end up with teretssyndrome like Muhammad Ali, guaranteed. and yes krav maga looks similar but this aint it baby. peace to you all.
If U see carefullly some technique of Jiu jit su Judo are in Ninjutsu So It depends on personal technique and skills because in real life no rules no gears just KO Or Give Up only The stronger should live Ha Ha Ha!!!
Ninjitsu is an effective tool against untrained opponents, but once you do one of those moves against someone who does grappling or MMA, they are going to protect themselves and arm drag you, take your back, and choke you unconscious. (or ground and pound you).
mma onely does good in the octegon.....out in the streets were there aint no rules an mma fighter will end up dead fighting against a ninja...ninjutsu has verry lethal moves to it trained to kill.
Those police officers were not skilled in their own combat system (Krav Maga if I am correct). There were shown few attempts to use it but they made essential mistakes, like beginners. So ninjutsu looks much more effective in this video. It was not about system but about skills. While that instructor was skilled in Ninjutsu, they were NOT skilled in Krav Maga. That means that comparison shown in this video is not objective.
This is the main problem with the Israeli Defence Forces. They have a small period of training and they are thrown into duty swiftly.
We tried to show them some easy to learn technics that are different from their own combat practice and can be learnd quickly and practiced as you go, because the methods are based on movement there are no beginners errors, any novice can move.
We had a very good feedback from the police officers that took the courses.
first off this isnt ninjitsu its krav maga and second ninjitsu is a secrit hidden martial arts only known in china and select few people im not talking about the bs kinds im talking about the hardcore potions and diseption
im sorry to say that KOGA NINJUTSU is non-existant for more than a century.i dont know how someone could be a 6th dan in this... the last one that claimed this heritage, was just making body-endurance shows on the streets of Japan... i hope im wrong though
wow! all of this works so well in slow motion and class room training. in the real world it aint like this. people are unpredictable and 1 false move your dead.
well i agree to some degree...it is true that most practitioners dont use the rule of expanding the technique's speed every year more... and also plenty of people dont use much of HENKA for a basic kihon happo technique/drill... but ofcourse, that's just my opinion.techniques must be done SMOOTH ,after that it must become quicker and quicker so you dont freeze/get stuck when you do it in real life
well looks very effective and usefull but i doubt it that they'll be able to use it against stone throwing kids or/and placed bombs in hide places :-P
if I go back to Vancouver I think it would be best to drive an Israeli police car because I was persecuted by the Nazi's right? 2 birds with one stone :) lol.I've a dark sense of humour:)
your style is very precise and dont worry about the bombs strapped to the chamas and hezbola thats our problem.... how can i learn these technics they look usefull..

Whatever it's called it seems the Israelis modify it for their needs, then break methods down into military or police use.
entity3sf 2 years ago
NOOOOOOOOO
not "whatever its called" he is arguing that this demo ( krav maga ) is ninjutsu... and NOT krav maga...
along with that... he is unable to comprehend that ninjutsu died in the 60's with Fujita...
if you look up krav maga you will even see cited sources showing it to be the training for the police forces, army AND special forces....
haliva is just trying to make a buck off of krav maga... albeit dishonestly...
Creationsofmyown 2 years ago
@Creationsofmyown if police used ninjutsu insted of krav maga, I think less people would be braking the law.
dadadee100 2 years ago
agreed... but not for why you think, more cops would be better detectives... more surveillance...
ninjutsu isnt even about combat... the main goal was not get caught... combat was only a last resort to facilitate the main goal, not getting caught.
Creationsofmyown 2 years ago
I know that and I also know that most ninjas were used for espionage
dadadee100 2 years ago
this is worthless.....The instructor like the students know the attack is coming, where it's going to be and tha attack is slow and weak.....poopoo

Great video :)

haifaprince2009 2 years ago
NPXkYI 2 years ago
BraveIDF 2 years ago

Suuuuure dude! whatever you say.
petion2000 2 years ago
no... krav maga has NO ninjutsu influence... this video is pure krav maga, no ninjutsu here... or anywhere else the last ninja died in the 60's his name was Seiko Fujita.
Creationsofmyown 2 years ago
If you look at the "Israeli Ninja" video u'll see when this guy earned the grand master rank in Koga Ryu Ninjutsu. He has been learning at a master from age 10.Yes this is Ninjutsu and yes,he is a ninja.Yes,they are very very few ninjas, but he is one.
Deathryx 2 years ago
no he most definitely is not...
i am not arguing that he hasnt been training since he was 10... or that he is a good martial artist... neither of them are relevant...
all thats relevant here is that there is no ninjutsu here...
and come on... claiming to be in the black dragon fighting society... how dumb a sheep are you??
maybe check out the bullshido article on him...
definitely not ninjutsu... not even close
Creationsofmyown 2 years ago
So you're saying the a well known Ninjutsu grand master faked a video? There is a video of a dicumentary from discovery on youtube called Martial arts or something. There they introduce ninjutsu and its style. You will recognize the similarities:P
Deathryx 2 years ago
he is a well known faker.... go ask about him in japan...
i dont give a fuck about a documentary... most "experts" arent even being asked about their field... most are just talkin out of their asses... maybe you should check out some debunks on martial arts documentaries...
so tell me, if this is koga-ryu... what ha is it?
Creationsofmyown 2 years ago
there are hundred of ninjutsu masters around the world... i am a shodan in koga ryu.... and if you dont believe ninja exists... search for bujinkan and the soke Masaaki Hatsumi, i dont like bujinkan tecniques.. but is the greatest name around the world..
FoxMag 2 years ago
funny that you use a ranking system that was made up AFTER ninjutsu died.
the dan/kyu system is used in sports... judo kendo aikido as a general rule. the do arts are sport base, as opposed to kenjutsu aikijutsu jujutsu the combat arts.
cute that you post one of the largest frauds as your backup. Ueno Takashi is the successor of takamatsu, NOT HATSUMI. go research some more kid...
koka died with Seiko Fujita...
but humor me... which ha of koka(not koga) do you study?
Creationsofmyown 2 years ago
koka, kouka, kohga, koga... any way.. its the same place... just some people listen and then "translate" it to what sounds better... i dont know who is sucessor of takamatsu... and i dont care about it or any other problem of bujinkan... and if you believe koka (as you prefer) died with fujita i cant do nothing.. i dont believe in that... if hatsumi dies today in a car accident you will afirm iga is dead too?
FoxMag 2 years ago
whether you believe it or not is irrelevant...
fundies believe that evolution and the BBT are totally wrong but that doesnt make that belief accurate...
if im calling it by its japanese name then i am not translating it you moron...
if you dont know that then why are you even trying to debate this? go do ur own research.
Iga was dead before hatsumi even pretended to know it.... Seiko Fujita was the last ninja... and japan agrees...
get one into a kobudo society and we'll talk..

I have to agree with Lywnis, Koga Ryu is a dead linage and the only current living Ninjutsu is X-Kans like Bujinkan, Genbukan or Jinenkan or modern Ninjutsu styles with roots in these....

Practiced ninjutsu in the 80's when Brian McCarthy was still with Hatsumi.
I was impressed by the approach then and must admit that I'm still impressed by its' effectiveness.
Practice jujitsu at the moment but will always use the mindset developed from training in ninjutsu.
The feel is entirely different from other martial arts and the end result is an effective form of combat.

All this is good for normal attackers huh? Yea. But, a good fighter is just that. There is no one technique that can defend against all people. Thats fact not opinion.
trombonedemon 3 years ago

Raging5 3 years ago
mma onely does good in the octegon.....out in the streets were there aint no rules an mma fighter will end up dead fighting against a ninja...ninjutsu has verry lethal moves to it trained to kill.
nior000 3 years ago
yep, ninjitsue will take out your eyes and break limbs instantly, this video is just for controlling situations for police
stri8ted 3 years ago
Those police officers were not skilled in their own combat system (Krav Maga if I am correct). There were shown few attempts to use it but they made essential mistakes, like beginners. So ninjutsu looks much more effective in this video. It was not about system but about skills. While that instructor was skilled in Ninjutsu, they were NOT skilled in Krav Maga. That means that comparison shown in this video is not objective.
NakedSteak 3 years ago 2
This is the main problem with the Israeli Defence Forces. They have a small period of training and they are thrown into duty swiftly.
We tried to show them some easy to learn technics that are different from their own combat practice and can be learnd quickly and practiced as you go, because the methods are based on movement there are no beginners errors, any novice can move.
We had a very good feedback from the police officers that took the courses.

wow! all of this works so well in slow motion and class room training. in the real world it aint like this. people are unpredictable and 1 false move your dead.
thesamedifference 3 years ago
wow! you obviously don't know the difference between drills of PRACTICE and the real thing, do you?
Huhmasta 3 years ago 4
well i agree to some degree...it is true that most practitioners dont use the rule of expanding the technique's speed every year more... and also plenty of people dont use much of HENKA for a basic kihon happo technique/drill... but ofcourse, that's just my opinion.techniques must be done SMOOTH ,after that it must become quicker and quicker so you dont freeze/get stuck when you do it in real life
Lywnis 3 years ago
well looks very effective and usefull but i doubt it that they'll be able to use it against stone throwing kids or/and placed bombs in hide places :-P
