From what I understand you can use this right before your speakers and right after your head and it takes that power signal and shifts it somehow to a recording signal which you can feed to a board for recording or I guess go straight to what ever program you want via some type of firewire device BUT at the same time it also gives you a split power signal which you can still drive your speakers with. SO you can still mic your speakers as well. Ultimate sonic possibilities Im getting two.
