Without even seeing the movie, I can tell that Daniel Craig is far better suited to this role than James Bond. He's a much better actor than Pierce Brosnan, but Brosnan looks like Bond, and Craig just doesn't.
A good Trilogy Only crib is When they get Civvies to wear Berets At least get them on a and look as though you are in the forces. Surely someone can show you HOW to wear a Beret.Other than that Good Series

Tenia que bajar por unas escaleras bastante largas que hay en mi pueblo cargado de leña, hablando con una mujer...e hizo unas 20 tomas por que no salia como querian, subiendo y bajando, y el tio seguia igual!! la misma cara y todo, y no se quejaba para nada, fue increible!
noooo, yo no trabaje en el film!! se grabo gran parte en mi pueblo, y yo cada día iba a ver el rodaje (en el 2001)incluso a los niños les daban helados para que no hicieran ruido :) . En mi pueblo se rueda bastante, pero este rodaje lo revoluciono por completo...lo pusieron patas arriba durante muchos dias!! Y si, soy de Mallorca, de siempre :)
The series captures Waugh's tone very well--the black comedy that attends a truly heroic and near-tragic figure who is continually betrayed by the overall chaos of war. A fine cast pulls it off--a must see.

I remember it as being more Waugh than the 2005 .

Argoleth8608 the track is simply called the "sword of honour theme" and was written by nina humphreys
i wasted about 2 days once trying to download/buy it unfortunatly they dont seem to want to release it - fools!!! its a beautiful piece of musiic
