As far as I can remember, the shaving cream hit was something started back in the late 80's and continue to this day. I'm not sure who started the tradition, but it something that's been pass down from one generation to another. If you're wondering, it has no symbolic meaning. Looking back at it, I think it's silly, but at the time, it was pretty fun.
I was there too but I didn't know anybody.
