  • I've taken Bio I and Bio II in college and both of my professors said something similar to "here is creationism: God made everything, okay now onto what really happened" and then continue to talk about evolution. So in my experience teachers don't even want to teach it.

  • Dan is right.

I believe in creation but I dont think that should be taught in public schools.

    IT IS THE PARENTS JOB.

Nor do I think that evolution should be taught because it is as much a theory as any other origin theory.

  • I wonder what would happen if I started walking into churches, and demanding in front of everyone to discuss why there is no evidence for Noah's supposed flood, or that all branches of science agree that the world is older then 6000 years.

    I'd think they'd be pissed.

I'll keep teaching science out of church if you keep church out of my science class.

  • Very much well said!

I totally agree, I myself am a Florida student.

Science is science, not blind faith!

and the two should not be mixed.

  • Well said, sir! I'm a Ron Klein supporter, but this is a very important issue to me. Even if he runs against Dan Gelber for senate, I may have to vote for Mr. Gelber.
