ahhh, remember Minigame PvPing with my Demonologist. I got 7 extra meter of cast range from Feats. And since my AoE had its own AoE when it hit enemies, I could blast them to smithereens long before anyone reached me. Oh yeah.. love my Demo. Then I and a Necro friend began tossing AoE on the same targets. Frickin wall! x| Not to say I did not get killed myself, but my Kill/Death ratio was among the top ones : D

What's good about WoW:

Combat style; not as buggy (you can jump around, pillar kite etc)

End game raiding; there is always new content coming out, and the bosses always have tactics (most of the time).

What's good about Conan:

Graphics,

Roleplay

So in conclusion: If you want to be a real hardcore gamer and ''be the best'' at whatever you're doing, go with WoW.

If you just want to play to have fun and chat then go with Conan. I've played both and I preffer WoW.

pillar kiting is what's "good" about wow? Thats one of the reasons why arenas are so imbalanced and favor melee.

thats he combat rose, tells you your opponents hp, stamina and mana on the right and your hp stamina and mana on the left, the 3 arrows you see tell you what direction you need to attack for your next combo, its optional

You don't auto attack in this game, you have to push 1 to swing forward left, 2 for middle and 3 for right swing.

1,2,3 is also require to complete special moves, you need to push them in the correct order to complete the move.

I think AoC is a better game then WoW, but WoW is a great game.

But as an earlier comment says, it wont take 2 years to lvl 80 in WoW, you can do it in about three weeks if you spend time after school and have fun with friends in week-ends and at the evnings : P

The classes are very unbalanced, but Funcom is suppose to be overhauling a lot of them to fix that. I played for a long time, but had to stop because it was taking up way too much of my time. Other than the class problem, its an fn awesome game

This game by far has the best PVP. The fact that the PVP in this game was better than any other game on the market upon release even with the bugs says somthing. Thats coming from someone that dosn't play AOC anymore because my computer couldn't handle the game off the island even on the lowest settings. Actually one of the major points of the game is lore and immersion - It destroys WoW in that category. Their are player sieges and player towns, how great the pvp is I couldn't say since I haven't played the game but as a player who has played WoW since release this game beats it in most aspects and anyone who says otherwise is just kidding themselves.

Conan lore has been around for a long time honestly I don't know much about it as I've never dove into it. The game starts with a singleplayer experience to get you into the story. The towns are constructed by guilds and these towns can wage war on one another. It's best if you are interested in the game to check out information on their site. It's nothing like Mortal Kombat that's a completely different genre man. WoW is an aged game now, AoC is the new generation of MMO - WoW was a great game.

guardian is good at soloing but has low DPS but very high survivability... dark templar i dont know much about and conqueror is my class and i would say conqueror for PvP and soloiong cause of pretty decent DPS and surviveability

Theres "active blocking". by holding X you can reduce the incomming damage greatly, but it drains your stamina while ur blocking.

Ok..Here is waht pisses me off with these MMO's...Most of them are cool don't get me wrong but why the fuck do they all look soo low budget and like old-school graphics. These games neve seem smooth at all. It's like the developers are being lazy and not using that extra computer power that most consoles and pc have today. This footage is taken from beta, before all optomization was completed and high rez textures were put in. I'll have some new footage from the actual retail client soon. DT is a melee class, the spells i show in the beginning are buffs, that last for 1 hour. I'm pretty sure the DT has very few offensive spells.

Noone can say yet. This footage was from level 20. Who knows what would be best at level 80. At this level, i'd say HoX had the best damage, with ToS right behind... and ToS was the best at pvp because of their high burst damage and their long root and their stun.

I am an affliction lock in WoW, too. So I know what you mean....drain/siphon life spells. I would roll Demo in AoC, but I don't see a monion sacrifice feat and I get annoyed sometimes with my lock's minion always there following my toon and getting in the way and didnt want that in AoC. Same with Necros. Also with the new melee combat system in play in AoC I think I would be missing out on that aspect. Still, fire effects look great.

I was planning on going DT, but from the look of it, they get owned by Barbs. Were you doing much active blocking, and did it help any? It looks like you really don't have much spike damage, and it's only a matter of time before something kills you. :/

I didnt active block at all. There were situations i look back on and am sure it could have saved me. Not much spike damage at this level at least *remember, its only lvl 20*

from what i remember, the life leach was a combo. The last hit of the combo stole life. I'm pretty sure they have more traditional life leaches, like spells and a % of damage they deal is turned to health... but not at level 20 i guess. :)
