Our 21 year old son died unexpectedly 2 years ago. Jesus is the only one that can give us the peace that we daily need to walk the long road of grief that we're traveling on. Without Him carrying us, we would not be able to walk it. We're not alone and that gives us perfect peace. Our son is not alone . . . he has perfect peace as well, in the arms of our Lord and Savior.

My baby brother died just about two years ago. I told my mom to listen to this song, and now its all she listens to. He was only 6 and a half months old. 6 months older than anyone thought he would be. We all know that he's way better off than we are, but it doesn't ease the pain at all. From my own past bereavement, I can only imagine that anniversaries -- such as the anniversary of her death-- and birthdays might bring another wave of grief. That's normal. Roll with the wave of grief. What a comfort to know, that even though Jesus was about to raise Lazarus, He still grieved for the family and "Jesus wept." Your tears matter to Him. May He comfort you.

My little girl died 4 weeks ago, and the only One who CAN give me peace is my Savior. He not only holds my little girl safely in his arms, he holds me up when I can't stay on my feet day to day. It doesn't mean it doesn't hurt, it just means He gives me a way to walk through the pain every second.

@cowgirlincolorado Thank you for your story. It's very encouraging to know that other people have been through similar troubles. I had a serious illness when I was sixteen and I didn't trust God to get me through it. I asked Him for help a couple times, but I didn't really trust Him. That illness nearly killed me through despair and exhaustion. Fortunately, God spared my life and now I try my best to trust him always. Praise Jesus, for his mercy. Praise Him for even considering our pain.
