Isle of Wight Postcards

Thanks for the wonderful video. My grandmother is from IOW and I have her postcard collection dating back to the early 1900's. Allan, Carlsbad, CA

I am from London but moved to the island in 2003. I love it here on the island although I have found that now I never leave it due to family members also moving here. It is steeped in history and the ghostly tales are plentyfull too. I find it quite an odd place at times and it reminds me of The leaque of gentlemen t.v show! I have no intention of moving off the island, I am completely hooked.

im from the isle of wight but currently living near bristol, hope to go home one day! My mother has a collection of old black and white postcards of gatcombe, chillerton and such places, i wonder if they are worth anything?

wow thanks a lot as i said my grandad was selling ice creams in my postcard but yours is certanly different

my father and other grandfather were longshoreman in

colwell between the 30s and 60s by the name of reed
