Very cool mashup mix, and I don't think you've tried very hard to claim this is the actual COL, but even a quick listen shows that it sounds waaaaaaaay too 'modern' to be a late 60s track. Especially when the trance/dubstep beats come in about halfway through. That said, this is fascinating stuff, and a fine effort!

Only a couple people on this planet have a copy of the original--and they're very tight lipped about it. McCartney wants it released, but the Ono and Harrison estate voted no thus far. I think Ringo doesn't mind. I'm sure it's pure rubbish, and I think the versions everyone else is doing is far more sophisticated than The Beatles original version, but I know it's worth listening to--especially to all us Beatles fans.

I actually had what I think believed was Carnival of Light.. It was off a bootleg, called 'Now and Then' it had some really good tracks on it too. I found it off of a youtube channel last year. A little while back, I checked to see how the channel was and stuff, and saw that it got suspended.. such a shame..

One of the giveaways that it's a fake: At one point you can hear someone say "old brown shoe" which is a George song that was released in 1969. As this was created in 1966, it's hard to conceive that George would have written the song or even had the idea for the song three years before it was released.

The lenght is about the correct one,according to Ian MacDonald it lasts 13:48. But how did MacDonald know the lenght? His description did not hint that he ever heard the track by himself.

Too much Drumb Machine. That part where "Barcellona" and "Are you all right?" are what was actualy being screamed by john and paul, but that's not them. The original also has water dripping in it. All of this isn't avante garde enough to be the beatles version. Everything on youtube isn't any real part of "Carnival of Light". Untill Paul releases it which he's talked about doing we wont hear the real version.
