This the MY RADIO! :-) We have the same radio. Well I have a TS-480 Kenwood as well. A friend of my gave me a working ICOM IC-735. I used it a lot when I first got it. I still switch to it rather often. It has a great receiver and a nice tone to the sound from it. It's one of the classic HF Rigs. You almost cannot kill one. Some people I have read have the VFO opto-decoder went bad. But mine works fine. I am missing the little door on the front - as are many owners. 73 de KA4UDX.
