@cyklonb1989 give me a fucking break. that isn't why we invaded. If you really believe in that, then you should be outraged about us not getting involved in Darfur or Rwanda. And even if you are, you're missing the damn point. This was an unjust war built on government driven fear and deception of the public.
@ElTantaran86 True, that might not be the real reason behind the war. But that doesn't invalidate my statement. Is Saddam Hussein's regime a fascist one? Did the Iraq War overthrow him?
@cyklonb1989 Equally, America's involvement in WWII was also self-interested but does that mean we should invalidate the statement that US overthrew one of the most evil regime in history? No, those are separate issues.
That would be unconstitutional. Americans have a right to protest. If you feel that people should be killed for protesting, perhaps you would be happier in a country like North Korea. Just a thought.
Peter Schiff is running for Senate and he would support Bombing Iran's nukes if he believed or was told they had them. Peter is a great economist, but I do not support any attacks on foreign land. We were told Iraq had WMD which were never found. Bombing in Iran could cause a major war in the region.
If you are against War, can you comment on my video called:
Yep, war's not so bad when there's a liberal Demcorat in office. Obama has even escalated the war in Afghanistan, with "principled" liberals sitting by in silence.
lol what a noob answer, really reflects the simplicity of your mind. That's like saying who is more evil, Charles Manson or the LAPD? The LAPD because they killed more people.
I don't use insulting words because that's a very LOW way of arguing/communicating with others! And again, if US and Bush killed 1,000,000 Iraqi's and Saddam killed 10,000. Then who is Evil? If you're going to say Saddam, then I'm pretty sure you lack the knowledge of what defines Evil :)
lol, you trying to accuse me of using ad hominem attack? well, unfortunately that doesnt work because I actually made an argument. The analogy illustrates trying to judge the morality simply by simplisticaly comparing figures is stupid. Any one who studied ethics will tell you you need to take into the account of things like intentions.

Excellent choice of music. Radiohead is the best. I just returned from the Chicago anti-war protest October 2007. This is inspiring to see today of all days.
i was there ranger fan and i was arrested. i was 17 years old. I hadnt done a thing. i was hit over the head from behind, dragged away, cuffed, and held for over 24 hours with no charges, no phone call. my parents had no idea where i was. luckily i got out and got a lawyer. it was unbeleivable, just watch the video.
I have been to over 20 protestsa round the country...some to be involved...soem jsut to see...and I never saw anyone get arrested unless they broke the law. 500 wrogfuly arested...LOL..i doubt it.
Alot of us had friends arrested without cause. You might be interested to know charges were dropped en masse eventually because they were wrongful arrests. I live in Chicago, not guessing about this.
Wheres the torches? The St.Louis anti-war protests around that time had an angry mob with torches taking over the streets. You'd think chicago would have.
Historians of the future will mock this as the biggest protest in history AGAINST the overthrow of a fascist government.

I bet 90% of these so-called 'peace activists' had no idea whatsoever of saddam hussein's genocidal rule.

Actually, this is a teaser to a documentary called "M20" by someone called "Chicago Matt" who happens to be me :)
I then gave Linda the footage for "Where We Stood" so I can see how you made the mistake.
Solidarity, Matt.
