How did you cut out the crack on the china boy on your left??? Looks "neat and Clean" and seems to not affect the sound. Also, great freakin snare drum. Only the nicest and warmest warm can produce that sweet sound. nice job on all your stuff dude.

@CRGentile My dad has a music shop and he cut out that crack - not sure how he did it. It took out some of the overall volume of the cymbal, but it was definitely still good for an accent. And I love the snare too - a Pearl free floating maple. Thanks!

@ksioamaral89 Thanks man, I added some compression to everything, and a little reverb to the snare. I really owe a lot of the sound to the overheads. Once I got these, everything sounds much better. But yeah, the live drums sound very similar to what you're hearing here.

Excellent drumming. Your left floor tom sings beautifully. All your drums do, but I loved hearing that left tom. Didn't seem to hit it too much for this cover, but I felt it when you did. Good stuff.

@jnlhansonian I do love the sound of that floor tom. It's partly the microphone (a kick drum mic), but I also added different legs and feet to the drum, some old beefy ones from my Pearl Export series, and that made SO much difference. Thanks for the feedback!

@GabeDrumBeats Thanks! I had three cameras rolling, but two were low quality. So I'm using three different takes with the good camera. The audio is a single recording, which matches the overhead camera.

On all my other videos, I did all cameras in one take. But I'm getting tired of having two poor-quality takes to mix in, so I decided to stop torturing myself and have more fun with this one. I even got my wife to film a take in front of the set to add a dynamic effect.
