  • No disrespect but Sarabande was not meant to be turned into techno

  • This is a chemestry master ! Transform a marterpiece in a pile of a shit ! Arggghhh!

  • overflow and overgrow !

  • I Have heard Classical verson then are better and i dont like Trance

  • god damn it, i made a typing mistake in my responce :s

  • Can't believe the amount of negative comments :( Actually I like it a lot! :) To me, this just goes to prove how well classical music and trance, as well as other electronic styles, work together. No need to exclude different music genres. Händel's is a masterpiece and this is a very interesting and v good version of it. Why the big fuss?? If you don't like merging styles, just don't listen to them, end of story. Hope haters won't start attacking me now for disagreeing with them, lol!

  • @dolls2703 well the things is that like me, people come here thinking they actually will hear the classical piece instead of, well whatever genre this is, and automatically find it offencive that someone uses the name of the composer and the piece of work he has composed for a song that has little to do with either. naturally, what follows is a lot of haters and negative responses.

  • this is awesome...by the way don't let these pompous knuckle-draggers get you down, keep up the good work!

  • Intro is waaaaaaayyy to long. As always with the trance.

    But it's a nice try

  • @Xinginn You don't have to listen to the first ~50 seconds of original mixes, it was intended for DJs to seamlessly transition from one track to the next. what you're looking for is radio mixes.

  • This is a pretty good try, but the string parts seem out of place compared to the rest of the song, which is a shame. Other than that, this is an OK remix.

  • Jusging by the age groups I'd imagine this has been receiving the wrong audiences (hence the bad reception). However although this is OK, this form of music CAN incorporate classical music (Tiesto - Adiago for Strings comes to mind), with enough talent. But it's very difficult and needs a great deal of musical and production talent.

I would say this isn't all too bad, but each to their own :) .. missing some atmospherics I think.

  • Honestly, this is an affront to the title it has presumed to used, not to mention the Artist that created the Music that this seething pile of excrement seeks to emulate. Im sure the intent was there, but the talent didn't make the trip with the effort.

In the perspective of one that loves fine music, this is appalling as a reference to Maestro Handel. I pray whoever cobbled this melange of derivative tripe together can find in it their heart of heats, to die in a fire.... soon.

  • @Leshiye69 Oh my :) I was one of the people who actually made this. I'm not sure who you are praying to, but it hasn't worked yet. I for one hope that the entity doesn't exist because I wouldn't want to die in a fire just because I made this. I hope you live a long and happy life, despite having to hear this song and me still not having died in a fire.

  • @alcorhythm Why call it anything to do with Handel though? Call it something original.... it is an original work after all. Put in the notes that you were inspired by Handel, something appropriate like that. Just doesn't make sense that you should name this piece Handel's Sarabande.

Honestly it is an affront and hopefully you will rename it and put it into the genre it deserves to be in. That's neither good or bad, but it's not misleading... which is what you have intended here.

  • @Leshiye69 I have not intended anything like it. I didn't post this video, nor named it. I just said I am one of the people who "cobbled this melange of derivative tripe together". I will continue this discussion in private, if you don't mind!

  • @Leshiye69 You are hereby diagnosed with an acute case of musical myopia.

  • sounds nice, but baroque version is better

  • i have nothing with trance music...and Handel is not riuned because hos music is still exist, is not replaced, so i dont see the problem...

  • This is supposed to be a melancholic piece of music, not some up-beat dance theme.

  • how to ruin a perfect piece of art....thank you :(shame on you!!

  • @stefanovic44 Mr. Stefanovic, thank you for your opinion. Now we are all aware of the type of music you do not like. Your opinion should be noted in the database and placed into a special folder.

  • the best part starts from 1:37

  • @yubukayu best part stats from 6:00

  • its not bad, but i expected more

  • I find this mix both good and bad. I feel a hint of Tiesto's "He's a pirate" style in there The beginning wasnt so good and that is maybe why people leave bad comments but after that the beat is really good :) Thumbs up from my behalf

  • @neostigma1306 i agree the start wasnt good though once you get into the meat of the track it gets better if very tiesto themed

  • A lot of these comments say this is shit but I think most people are trying to say

    THIS IS THE SHIT!!!!!!!

Tranced my face off to this

  • it is still better than hendel

  • @discouniverse You fail in so many ways I cannot even begin to list them in this little text box

  • @ChaX424 I listened to this so many time and can tell you that trance version is beautiful unlike symp version

  • @discouniverse well i dig this but i cannot get behind not appreciating handel's original comp

  • @discouniverse this is ok, but the original is the best. i mean its handel for christs sake.

  • I'm glad I heard this but I can't actually say I liked it. Still, it's worth hearing how people are trying to reinterpret the Baroque. It just sounds like synthesizer and drum machine to me but then I'm not in a trance and I think being in a trance would definitely help.

  • This really is shit (lol).

  • even though I love the original Sarabande, I think this one is funny, sounds good for a soccer videogame (well that's what I pictured in my head when I heard this hehe) well, keep enjoying doing what you do, I guess that's how the world is supposed to work

  • Crap

  • That would sound quite better with some kind of Gated Screamy Lead sound From a Sylenth or something than these old fashioned Trance strings with too much white noise in it. but the intro and the track construction are good.

  • Good song!

  • I like this video; it's a very creative twist on Handel. Nice job dole95. :)

  • Seems some people need open their minds a little bit about what constitutes music... Music is not static; it t is always elvolving and in motion. If Handel were still with us today, who's to say he wouldn't have been a techno DJ? Oh, well. To each his own.

  • @lamllemaussade My thought exactly, some people should stop being so tight-assed and open their minds to new/different things. You have the right to dislike this, still Geert Huinink and Alco Lammers did a pretty good job at remixing Handel's Sarabande. It's not the original, but that doesn't mean it's bad. It's different...

  • how can you hate this way classical music... leave classical music alone, please, you 're not worth.

  • Oh My fucking God!!!

    Whath is this shit???

I wants to listen a Händel!!!

  • I don't hear sarabande much, it's an alright track in and of itself but I don't think is deserves the name.

  • Welch Frevel. Welch Entweihung. Welch Unwürdige...

  • MY EARS, MY LOVED EARS, THEY BLEEEEEEED!!!

I sometimes listen to electronic music, don't get me wrong, but this...Why this?

  • ke skifo!

  • Muito bom!!!!!! Sou fanático por Handel, e essa forma dancante de ouvir a sarabanda é inovadora..parabéns!!!

  • I like the original and was first nearly shocked to see this... However I think it is a) a cool crossover idea and a pretty good techno tune. I'd rather cut loose on the dance floor to this, than to most other stuff. However I don't like the part from 4:00 to 4:30.

  • @Tholomaios

Are you kidding? That's the best part...

  • well...... at least it brings classic to the youngsters

  • handel was an egotistical douche bag anyways

  • hey dole95 may you pliz upload more tracks from this album..

  • dobra jest

  • This is the best version I've heard that.

to jest najlepsza wersja którą słyszałem.

  • Que porqueria! La Verdad no me gusto para nada! acaban de matar a Haendel! y no solo a Haendel sino que acabar de hacer mierda 50 años de musica electronica. :-S

  • Interesting experiment.

  • I think this is quite beautiful... I think people don't realize how much talent it takes to produce a piece of music like this.

And I would think that classical music lovers would be happy that this music is reaching a new audience, rather than insulting the person who, inspired by Handel, put so much effort into creating a modern interpretation of a classic.

Until you try producing a high-quality track like this, you will have no idea how much goes into it.

  • I understand it takes a great deal of work to produce such a thing as this, but certainly not an amount of work comparable to the actual composition and performance involved in a piece like Sarabande. I don't intend to insult the person who made this, but I will agree that this could be reasonably considered an insult to Handel.

  • I love it when trance makes use of classical harmony

  • :)))) hahaha, as in Throwing up alcohol :D

  • they do not know what they say

they are homos without Techno in their blood

    5 Stars

    you have talent

    i like it ;-)

  • yeah, it brings classical music to a new generation who would not, otherwise, appreciate it.

    God guide

    xSx

  • im ok whith this as long as they dont say they are making music, they just play music, and they add a punch punch or two thats all they do, an instrument emits notes not songs

  • Write your own goddamn songs you talentless fucking remixers

  • tell that to Tiesto

  • You're so damn right!!. This is such a shame.

  • yikes

  • played with a single finger on a midi-keyboard and looped to death.

    what a crap...

  • noooo!... why???? after looking fot Händel's sarabande for quite a while youtube brings me this???

i can't imagine why human beings could do something this terrible to one of the most precious compositions ever, really, this is killing.

  • it´s possible to like them both!

  • Great song.

  • sigh why do remix wankers take so many old songs and make them crappy dance songs and get paid for it!?

  • Because they're not DJ Tiesto that's why. His song "Elements of Life" came from Handel's work, but it truly does justice to it's beauty.

  • They get paid for it so why not? OR maybe they appreciate classical music, so try to make something different from it. Why is everyone a critic? It's an excellent remix and the production is spot on. The title says "Classical Trance" so if you think dance producers are remix wankers why listen to it in the first place? 5/5

  • xD...

  • what the fuck is this shit

  • .......Jesus!!!!! Why???

  • This is an interesting take on the song...personally I'm not keen, much prefer the original classic :) But thanks for posting anyway!

  • cartonne ce truc!!

  • Does anyone know where to get this bloody song? Not on itunes or anything?

  • おもしろいアレンジのひとつだとおもう

I think that this is one of interesting arrange

  • was this in the matrix 2, where they were all dancing?

  • Simple. Today's Generation does not see beauty in music, only in technological bubbles

  • i c@nt believe i just thumbed you up when im tod@ys gener@tion. im 17

  • ...so everyone 50 years ago, when you were 17, listened to and appreciated Handel?

Try not to generalise. Makes you look so very foolish.

  • =((((((

    They. Murdered. Handel.

  • Wow, I totally agree.

  • @silosdt No, you have perhaps closed off your mind to new possibilities and learnings from the way other people adapt and interpret their world. Yes, this is a bit of a 'marmite' experience but it is still refreshing and exciting! Just as music is and always will be-changing and absorbing new directions and adaptations from different perspectives.

  • @silosdt Times change. I personally love this version.

  • 1:52 the notes going too fast! I can't enjoy the full emotion of the song at this speed

it's ok, but nothing like the original

  • The music was meant to be not so well defined and synthesized, nor to follow a specific beat. It was meant to be shapeless, formless and soft, and not solid.

Essentially you've made another song that means something else, but that some parts of the song doesn't fit the something else.

This however, may have been more acceptable to the ears of people who like that genre.

That's my opinion. Good try. I'm sure the technique could have done better elsewhere.

  • I did listen the original and this one...

and it just depends of the mood =)

One for a good glass of wine in my home after my day and this one to have party with friends Nice add dude

  • =O ...MENUDA MIERDA!!! que incultura!!

  • Verdad?? K mania con coger obras maestras de la musica clasica y transformarlas en esto...

  • reminds a lite bit of pirates of carribean theme:)

  • I don't know why so many people are turned off by this, I think it is great.

  • Thanks, I totally agree.

  • @skywalker271 Music snobs. Classical is my first love but I love a good dancing 'til dawn to trance.

  • menuda mierda, ah! y ese comentario de q esto es para gente gay??? tendra mucho q ver...

  • If this job had been signed by a great DJ

you' d be collectiing a positive feedback ..:)

Don't give in: not that bad among so many

    other arrangements after great classics.

  • wow...........partyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • They're both great in their own ways. Stop complaining.

  • crap, utter crap

  • this is for gay people i think

  • Handel deserves better !!

    This is non music.

  • @wanlockhead it's another style but it is still music!!

  • @wanlockhead ? shut the fuck up and learn to appreciate all types of music.

  • what a sacrilege. this would be forbidden ¬¬

  • the music is raped now

  • i agree. this is horrible

  • yeh
